Being a Pakistani, I know our 70 to 80 percent of educational system is just rotating around the science and science subjects. The person who didn't choose the science subjects as a career our society considered him an average student who is not hardworking. So that Pakistani parents dream are just around to make their children a doctor and engineer. And those who didn't become a doctor or an engineer start doing BS in biotechnology, botany, chemistry, physics and many other such fields.

In Pakistan, science subjects basic start from nineth grade when we need to study four subject Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. So we need to made the practical notebooks in class nineth and also need to do different types of experiments. I don't know the practical system of other institutes of Pakistan, but from the college where I have done my matric and f.s.c. all concentration is given to the marks instead of practical learning. We only performed experimental work in the end of final examination of tenth grade.

Let's see what blunder we did in the matric practical:

At matric level there is no proper teacher of biology and chemistry, just physics sir available who performed the experiments everyday. As at that time we are teenage and just like children, so instead of doing practicals I daily gone to the school just because of my friends and the fun we have done there. One thing is good about my school that it's, so beautiful, large, a large playground is found in the outside of the school and the great thing is that our practical lab is situated on the third portion of the school building so what we do no one getting aware of this lol.

In morning time, we played in the ground from two to three hours, then take physics lab and after this start doing different types of experiments just for fun.

One day one of the extra naughty girl of our class Maliha start mixing the different types of chemicals in the beaker with the support of whole class and after some-times the smoke start blowing from the beaker and we all run towards the gallery and leave the practical lab.

Thanks God there is no serious reaction occur here and we all are saved and also no body else getting aware with this fact except the whole class. After this incident we all decided to don't try to become the scientist in the laboratory again.

F.S.C. practicals period passed safe and sound:

In f.s.c. we didn't do the any kind of blunder, because our practical session is in the Holy Month of Ramazan and also all subjects teachers are availabile. So we didn't found the time for naughtiness activities and so that time was passed safe and sound. But in that session we break a lot of test tubes and stirrers.

Everyone career field started after f.s.c:

After f.s.c, beside of studying all subjects we need to choose one field as a career. Besides Mathematics, either we become chemist, biologist and physicst we need to work in the laboratory. In four years of BS we need to perform the different types of experiments in the laboratory.

.The chemist played with different types of chemicals.

.A physicst played with different types of instruments.

.While the biologist performed different types of biological activities on living organisms with the help of chemicals.

To play or work with instruments, chemicals and living organisms is not easy. So we should all time follow the proper precautions. Some instruments are too much heavy or sensitive so we all time stay careful with them while some chemicals are too much dangerous, that's even to open them in the laboratory it's cause danger to our lives.

Let's see what incident happened in our experiment lab in this summer season:

In our university lab there is the huge rush in the summer season due to the research work. Only one lab and there are lots of students who want to performed their experimental activities. Also teachers and lab assistant didn't available in the laboratory all time. So one of the student need ammonium to perform any of her biological activities. Ammonium is so dangerous and for this the necessary precaution is to open it in the open atmosphere but the student did the mistake and open it in the lab and then ooops the smog is spreading all around the lab and everyone moved towards the outside, and we all didn't stay safe if one of the girl didn't show the braveness.

Yeah she with her all will power closed the bottles.But we all faced problems while taking breath, even though the ammonium bottle is stay opened for just one minute but for one an hour still it's fumes were rotating here and there & if we entered in the room our eyes didn't dare to stay opened.

Yup one good thing about our laboratory is that all necessary precaution and rules are written on the banner and hanging on the wall, but like me all other students just read them and lol made fun of them. Let's share some of them with you:

• So the first rule is don't eat and drink in the lab.

• Don't create too much noise in the lab.

• Wear all time lab coat or glooves while working in the lab.

• Use all instruments and chemicals carefully.

• After working, wash and dry them and then place it in their exact place.

These are the common things that's we already know. My only objection is that they need to write on the top that teacher and lab assistant is all time available on the lab while performing the experiments with different chemicals.

Closing Thoughts:

Human life is too much precious, and working in the chemical laboratory is not easy. So we should always try to stay careful while working with chemicals and don't put our and other people lives in risk. Becoming a foolish scientist in the laboratory can take away from the earth. So be careful if you are science students. Wear all time lab coats, face mask and gloves while doing experiment with different types of chemicals.Because working in the science laboratory is too much risky because we don't know at any time we faced biggest problem so stay wise in the laboratory and stay safe.
