Chicken tinola is a filipino soup. It is cooked with chicken, papaya, leaves of siling labuyo, ginger, onions and fish sauce.
Today, i will write an article regarding my own bersion of chicken tinola.
Ingredients:
1tbsp cooking oil
1 onion, chopped
2 gloves garlic, minced
Sliced ginger
1tbsp fiah sauce
2.2lbs chicken meat
Chicken broth cubes (knorr)
Water
Green papaya cut into wedges
Leaves of siling labuyo
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Heat oil in a large pot, put in garlic and onion until fragrant. Add ginger and fiah sauce.
Put in the chicken meat and cooked for around 5 minutes
Pour some water and bring to a boil
Add knorr cubes
Put the papaya wedges and simmer until soft
Add salt and pepper to taste
Add leaves of siling labuyo and wait for 1 minutes.
Turn off the heat. Served with a bowl of rice
