A November to Remember
It's been almost a year since I posted an article here on read.cash, but in that time, I've not stopped writing. Today, I decided to tell you a little story of my life.
We all have that memorable day in our lives that we can't forget, right? Yes! Mine was a day I achieved something huge in my life. Read on to find out what it was.
It was a beautiful Saturday morning, I still remember this day like it was yesterday. It was the 9th day of November, 2019, I was 17 years old then. I woke up around 6:00am to the morning's light with mixed feelings of anxiety and nervousness. I was worried and nervous because I was going to co-host a very large event which attracts over 2,000 people comprising of: students, teachers, government officials from all across Lagos State. On the bright side, I was happy because I was going to attend one of the largest Teenage Fair in Lagos, Nigeria (Teenage Festival of Life.)
A night before the event, I was thinking hard about the day, about how it was going to be. I had so many doubts on my capability to give my all. Even though I had undergone rigorous 3-week training on how to pilot the event, I still had alot of "what if's" hovering in my head: What if I mixed up my line and say something hiddeous and then the audience starts to laugh at me, what if I'm not good enough for this, what if I fall on stage? These are some of the questions that were bothering me that I couldn't even sleep well that night.
Back to where I was, in the morning of the D-Day, I had my bathe, brushed my teeth, had my breakfast and dressed-up in my customised outfit specially made for the Co-host of the event. I started my journey with my siblings to the University of Lagos' Main Auditorium, Akoka, Lagos at about 7:30am. Though the venue of the event was not very far from our home, we took a commercial vehicle to the University's front gate anyway and completed our journey to the Auditorium on foot. It took almost quarter of an hour to get to the main venue from our house.
When I arrived backstage, I became unsettled when my senior at work said that my shirt was too small, I even became even more unsettled when I discovered that most of my practised scripts have been altered slightly at die minutes, then my heart began to race, I could almost hear it loud in my ears, I wondered if others too could hear it.
Ok, let me skip to the main part... I stepped up stage and I could hear the cheerful noise of the Audience waiting for me to give them a heartwarming opening speech. I couldn't see their faces because everywhere was dark, the only place that was lit, was the stage and I was the centre of the light which blinded my eyes. 'At least I wasn't going to be talking to a large crowd... Just me' I thought. So I started: "A wonderful morning to you, Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls and distinguished guests, it's a great privilege to welcome you to the 26th edition of Annual Teenage Festival of Life. Let me hear you make some noise!" I was satisfied with the responses I got from the audience.
After the introduction, I introduced each act to come present the act they've been training to showcase for the 3 weeks of grooming. It got to the time where I was to introduce the mastermind behind the awesome acts that day, E choke! I lost my gait and minced up my words, when I realised this, my heart skipped a beat. The Host had to cover up my mess in the unawares of the audience. Going backstage, I didn't allow that to stop me from completing my mission of accomplishing something big. I went backstage and came out waxed stronger. That day was a day of humiliation for me and also a day when I achieved one of the greatest things in my life_ to speak to a large crowd and honestly, I enjoyed each and every performance presented that day. I even got to see famous personality in the Music Industry live {Sound Sultan.}
The event came to an end at around 4:00pm and I went home feeling relieved and happy with a new experience. This is a day that remains evergreen in my memory and I shall cherish as long as I live.

Poem About ❣️Friendship❣️
I don't know how I found this,🤷🏽♂️
But this is my heart piece,❣️
So, enjoy it now that you're at ease.😌
This is what people mean when they say: "Friends indeed!"❣️👬🏽❣️
If I die before you do,⚰️
I'll go to heaven and wait for you.😊
There isn't a thing I wouldn't do to have a friend just like you!☺️
I want to thank you,🙏🏽
But I'm short of words to explain🤐
What it means to have a friend like you,🤗
To share life's joy and life's pain.🥰🥺
Friendship is a priceless gift,🎁
That cannot be bought or sold.❌
But, its value lifts🔝
Higher than a house full of gold.🏅
It's good to know our friendship,🙂
Is one of endless devotion,🔗
Forged out of friend's Ship,🛳️

If you're my friend, then answer me:🙃
"Are we friends or are we not?🤔
You told me once, but I forgot.🤔💭

Written with a pen,✍🏽

🇳🇬Spoken Words: Black Tuesday🇳🇬
#20.10.2020
Mama Tochi P.O.V
It really breaks my heart to see you go.💔🥺 I just can't believe you're gone, Tochi.😭 and it's hard to say goodbye.🧎🏽Tochi, please come back, I beg you!😭🙏🏽 Oh God, PLEASE!😭🤲🏽
You went out yesterday as did other Youth,✊🏽 to be the voice to the mimed and the saviour to the oppressed.🖐🏽 O lo soro soke fun wa. Now, yesterday's protest took your life.⚰️ There was a gunshot, POOW!🔫 With a heavy heart, I cried: "Tochi, who did this to you? Your body is all swollen, covered with injuries, you're in extreme pain struggling for life and you're lying almost lifeless in a pool of blood?"🩸🥺😖 He begged me to take his corpse home, that he'll be fine... Liar!😰 "Mama, they killed me here" were his last words.😔 I hope my son's death and that of other Youth never be in vain. Amen🤲🏽🙏🏽
Tochi P.O.V
"Arise O' Compatriots!"🆙 The opening line of our National Anthem. "To serve our fatherland, with love and strength and faith."❤️💪🏽✊🏽 "The labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain."🙅🏽♂️
_"Peace and unity."_🕊️✌🏽 The last line of the first stanza of our National Antvoice to em. _"O! God of creation, direct our noble cause."🙏🏽"Help our Youth, the truth to know."😇 "And live in just and true."⚖️💯 "Great lofty height attain, to build a nation where peace and justice reign."_🔝🕊️⚖️🇳🇬These are powerful statements in my dear country's Anthem.🇳🇬
We the Youth of our society stood firm,✊🏽 holding on to the trust we have for our fatherland, but she betrayed us. Yes, us!💔 Our trust, now questioned.😔 Let it be known that on this day, 20th of October, 2020🗓️ a black Tuesday for people of Nigeria and for me specifically.☠️ I ventured on a peaceful protest to end SARS and Police brutality in my country,🇳🇬 but THEY shot me😵 and I took my last breath and journeyed home in search of eternal peace in the life after.🧖🏽♂️
Green and white is supposed to be the colour of her flag.🇳🇬 The white signifying peace and balance,🕊️⚖️ but she stained it with the blood of her own people.🩸Can you imagine?!😒 O! What a shame!😔 With tears running down my eyes,😢 our hands raised up high firmly holding on to the flag✊🏽🇳🇬 and our voices chanting out loud together as one the nathion's anthem,🗣️ we were massacred in our defenseless state.😪 WHY?!...😭😭😭
If you're not protesting,🙅🏽♂️then you can help the protest by praying for those out there who are risking their lives for a better Nigeria.🇳🇬 They are our heroes and their lives are on the line, so please pray for them.🙏🏽 Some mother's are waiting anxiously for their children to come back home such as mine, but unfortunately, they may not.😔 Some may get to see the brighter days, others may not.😞 All in all, with their fight against bad governance and the inhumane practices of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (fSaRS),🚔🚨🚓 we are heading towards a revolutionalised Nigeria,😃 where the voices of our Youth are heard and answered.📢✅ Together we can achieve it, so pray for us and the new Nigeria we look forward to which is not too far in sight.🤩
(In Thoughts)
Mama don't worry, I'll be back in the evening.😌 Mama, I don't know how to break this news to you,😖I'm sorry I failed you,🤧I couldn't come back,🧎🏽♂️ but mama, I really didn't mean to go.😓 Mama, those who were supposed to protect us,👮🏽 shot at us.🥺 I waved the flag, but it was no use, it seemed like a gun in their sight.😕 Mama, you know that I wanted a better life for us!🤞🏽For Papa,✝️ for my generation unborn.🤱🏽 I'm sorry Mama that I couldn't give you that, I really am.🙇🏽 They wasted us mama, the men in uniform. Oh God! Look how they took your son away.😭 For what?! Because he protested against bad governance...?🥺
I still feel pains,🥺 but I'm happy knowing I died for a greater cause.🤞🏽 I don't know if you can handle this news,💔 but God knows that I tried to stay strong and alive for you Mama,❤️ I tried, but it was hard, so hard, mama.😰
Be thou proud of me and pray Heaven receives me and my friends with warm open hands.🤗 I know... I had a future, we planned together, remember? 💭 But, now I don't see that anymore.😵 Even if you cry me a river, it won't bring me back mama.😇 So please move on and promise me you'll be strong.💪🏽 Be proud of me as angels guide me home. FAREWELL mama! 👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽

St. Paul (I)
Family
In a Jewish home, every friday night, the whole family will gather round the table at suppertime and light lamps. The father used to read a passage from the old testament and leads the family in prayers. Then many would gather together at the Synagogue for worship and singing of Psalms. The Rabbi reads from the Scripture and gives Sermon.
Saul's Persecution of the Early Church (Acts 5:57 - 58, 8:1 - 3, 9:1 - 3)
As Saul grew up, he became highly enthusiastic about persecuting Christians and seeing them thrown into prisons. Stephen was one of the followers of Jesus Christ. Acts 8:1 says that Saul actually gave disapproval for Stephen's death. His mission was to see to it was all those who followed Christ were completely removed from Jerusalem had other areas.
In Acts 9:1 - 3, threatening Christians was not enough, Paul obtained a written permission to arrest Christians in Synagogues, on his way there, Jesus arrested him instead.
Saul's Conversion (Acts 9:1 - 9)
As Saul grew up, there were many Jews living in Damascus in the new testament times. They had their own Synagogues for worship and teaching and those who became Christians follow the way. One day, the Christians heard terrible news that Saul's the enemy of the disciples in Jerusalem; he was on his way to Damascus to persecute believers. Those who were caught would be seized and taken for trial in Jerusalem, where they might face death like Stephen did.
As he neared Damascus, a great light from heaven flash around him and he fell to the ground. He heard a voice saying to him *"Saul*, *Saul* *why* *are* *you* *persecuting* *me*?" On hearing this, that it was Jesus speaking to him Saul requested to know what to do. Jesus replied that he would be told what to do when he entered the city. The men or temple Guards traveling with Paul were speechless for they heard the sound but saw no one. Paul became blind and he neither ate nor drank for three days.
Ananias was instructed by Jesus to go and lay hands upon Saul, but he was afraid and expressed his fear based on the reports behind Saul's activities in Jerusalem. Nevertheless, he left for Judas house after Jesus had told him of his plan for Saul's life. He got to Judas' house and placed his hands on Saul; who at once, regained his sight. Saul was baptised and he received the Holy Spirit and his name was changed from Saul to Paul.
Paul's Missionary Journeys
Paul undertook four missionary journeys covering about 6,000 miles (9,660 kilometers) and lasting almost 15 years all-together.
I. The First Missionary Journey (Acts 13:4, Acts 14:1 - 26)
The first missionary journey was centred on evangelism. This lasted for about three years. Paul took off from Antioch in Syria to Celicia, from Celicia to Salmis, from Salmis to Paphosity in Pamphilia, from Pamphilia to Antioch in Pisidia, from Pisidia to Conium, from Conium to Lystra, from Lystra to Berbe and from Berbe to Antioch in Syria. Antioch in Syria where he took off. Acts 13 & 14 describes Paul's first missionary journey and the events that took place in the towns Paul visited and what he did in each town.
II. The Second Missionary Journey (Acts 15:36, Acts 18:22)
After he had been commended by the Church at Antioch to the grace of God, Paul went on his second missionary journey to spread the gospel in Greece and Europe, this lasted four years covering the following cities: Syria and Celicia, Berbe and Lystra, Troas, Philippi, Thessalonica, Beroea, Athens, Corinth and Ephesus.
The ship's next stop was Oaesarea from there, Paul went up to greet the church in Jerusalem, then he went down to Antioch in Syria, from where he had taken off. Thus, ending the second missionary journey.
III. The Third Missionary Journey (Acts 18:23, Acts 21:6)
After spending some time in Antioch in Syria, Paul went on his third missionary journey. Here, he took the gospel to the provinces of Asia and the cities of Ephesus, including return visits to the churches of Asia minors and Greece. This lasted about five years. First he revisited churches in Galatians and Phiyryyi, strengthening all the Christians.
Meanwhile, Paul continued on his missionary journey and arrived at Ephesus where he spent three years spreading the gospel from Troas to Miletus and from Miletus to Tyre and after a brief delay, he continued on to Jerusalem. (Acts 28:23, Acts 21:16)
IV. The Fourth Missionary Journey (Acts 21:17, Acts 28:31)
It included his arrest in Jerusalem, Court trials and journey to Rome. This journey lasted about three years, total 15 years.
Engineering Workshop
Hand Tools and Basic Woodworking
Tools are objects designed to perform a specific work mostly by material removal process. They are employed in engineering, manufacturing, woodwork and metal work to perform operations such as cutting and shaping of parts and they can be hand or machine operated. Hand tools are tools operated by the hand and are used to accomplish a task of fabrication. Example: Hammars & Mallets, Chisels, Files & Rasps, Handsaws, Scrapers, Drills, Punches, Planes & Planers, etc.
Hand Tools
1. Hammars & Mallets
A hammer consists of a hardened and tempered tool steel head firmly fitted into a wooden steel or metal handle and held in position by wooden or metal wedges. The tool steel is made up of 0.1% - 1.5% Carbon.
Claw Hammar: A claw hammar is suitable for woodworking because of friction and heat.
Sledge Hammer: The Sledge hammer is suitable for metal working. Hand hammars may weigh 0.5kg - 2kg, while the weight of a Sledge Hammer varies from 4kg - 10kg.
Mallets: Mallets are hammers with rubber or wooden head. Mallets could have a rectangular or circular shaped wedge.
2. Chisel
A Chisel is a cutting tool which consists of a steel blade that has a sharp bevelled head at one end. Chisels are made of high Carbon-Steel and are used to shape and fit parts as required when making joints.
*N.B: A ferrule connects the tong to the handle.
Types of Chisels
- Firmer Chisel
- Mortise Chisel
- Parting Chisel
- Dovetail Chisel
Gouge: Gouges are Chisels with curved cutting blades. They are used for cutting round holes. There are two kinds: Outside and Inside Gouge. The Outside ground gouge is called Firmer Gouge. Whereas, the inside ground gouge is Scribbing or Pairing Gouge.
3. Files & Rasps
Files are made of hardended tool steels with slanting rows of teeth. Ferrule connects the Tang to the handle.
Rasp: A rasp is a file with larger teeth on it's cutting surface.
4. Hand Saw
Handsaws are used to cut wood to a specific dimension.
Woodwork Saws are wood cutting tools having a handle and a Tin-Steel blade with series of small sharp teeth along the edge. Saws are used to cut wood of different sizes.
Classification of Saws
• Frame Saw (Bow, Frets and Coping)
• Hand Saw (Rip, Cross-cut, Panel, Key-hole and Pad Saw)
• Snuff Saw (Tenon Saw and Dovetail Saw)
5. Planes and Planers
A planer is a special tool for smoothening and removing wood as shavings. The use of plane is limited to the exterior of the wood piece i.e to the horizontal and vertical surfaces.
Classification of Planes
° Jack Plane
° Smooth Plane
° Jointer Plane
° Trying Plane
° Rabbet Plane
° Circular Plane
° Fore Plane
*N.B: Woodpiece is a material used to shape to the desired dimensions. Tool piece is the device used to accomplish the task.
Philosophy
Philosophy is derived from two Greek words: Philos/pholos/philem/philia or philein meaning Love and Sophia meaning wisdom. Etymologically, philosophy is the love of wisdom. There is no universal definition of philosophy, the complexities surrounding the definition of philosophy has led some philosophers to define philosophy as undefinable. Each philosopher has his or own definition of philosophy:
(I). "Philosophy is an academic subject that exercises reason and logic in an attempt to understand reality, and answer fundamental questions about knowledge, life, morality, virtue and human nature."
Socrates
(II). "Philosophy is the tenacious attempt of reasoning men to think through the fundamental issues of life, to reach reasonable conclusion on first and last things to suggest worthwhile goals that can command loyalty of individuals and groups."
Carlis Lamont
(III). "Philosophy is a search for comprehensive view of nature, an attempt at a universal explanation of nature."
Alfred Weber
(IV). "Philosophy is the science of sciences."
Coleridge
(V). "Philosophy is a persistent effort of both ordinary and persistent people to make life as intelligible and meaningful as possible."
Branold
(VI). Philosophy is a philosophical process of solving some characteristic methods from a characteristic attitude and arriving at characteristic conclusions."
Dr. Ramnath Sharma
(VII). "Philosophy is a process of constant questioning."
Plato
(VIII). "Philosophy is thinking really hard about the most important questions and trying to bring analytic clarity to the questions and the answers."
Marilyn Adams
(IX). "Philosophy is the successful love of thinking."
John Armstrong
(X). "Philosophy is the study of the costs and benefits that accrue when you take up a certain position."
Peter Adamson
NOTIONS OF PHILOSOPHY
1. Popular Notion:
Philosophy as the love or quest for wisdom or knowledge.
2. Academic Notion
- "Philosophy is a rational search for answers to fundamental questions that arises in the mind."
Omerogbe J. I
- "Philosophy is the science of all sciences."
Scientists
BRANCHES OF PHILOSOPHY
Traditionally, philosophy is divided into five branches, namely; Metaphysics, Epistemology, Ethics, Aesthetics and Logic. Others are: Philosophy of other subjects and Axiology.
I. Epistemology:
Etymologically, Epistemology is derived from two Greek word "Episteme" meaning knowledge and "Logos" meaning study, theory or reason. Thus, Epistemology studies the origin, nature and scope of knowledge. School of thoughts or philosophical systems in Epistemology are rationalism, empericism and idealism. Rationalism postulated that reason alone is the source of true knowledge. Empericism holds that knowledge can be available only though sense experience. Idealism emphasizes mind, spirit, soul or ideas as ultimate source of knowledge.
IMPORTANCE OF PHILOSOPHY
* The essence of philosophy is the study of fundamental ideas and methods that are not adequately addressed in specialised imparable discipline such as Physics or History.
* Philosophy provides the fundamental upon which all believe structure and fields of knowledge are built.
* It is responsible for the definitions and approaches used to develop the theories of such diverse fields as religion, language, law, science, etc.
* It enables us to think carefully and clearly about important issues.
* It sharpens our analytical ability.

Goodnight Message
Everything in life teaches us something; This is a lesson from the Bathroom.
Go to the Bathroom and learn the integrity of the Bathroom.
Have you ever thought of integrity and character of the BATHROOM?
WHAT IS A BATHROOM?
BATHROOM is an enclosed room
The BATHROOM is a separate part of the house that is purposely designed for bathing.A small apartment carved out to see our nakedness, fault and accommodate our dirt.
Are you a BATHROOM?
Do you cover people or you expose them? Are you a defender or an offender?
BATHROOM REFRESHES.
Everyone of us comes out of the BATHROOM better than we entered. BATHROOM is a place of Relief and Refresh. Are you sure people get better anytime they come in contact with you, or they get bittered? - Learn from your BATHROOM.
BATHROOM IS A SECRET KEEPER.
I have never come across any BATHROOM that shout and make noise, or expose your secret and nakedness to others. Once you move out of the bathroom, no one knows what had happened. In fact let one thousand people take bath in the same BATHROOM, I can guarantee you, It will never divulge your secret, figure or nakedness to another person. The scars which others cannot see, BATHROOM sees and knows it.
Are You Trust Worthy, Responsible or Dependable? - Learn from Your BATHROOM.
BATHROOM TOLERATES OUR HUMAN WASTE.
Do you know that the BATHROOM is tolerant? It doesn't matter how dirty and smelly you are in the BATHROOM, it will never take advantage of your carelessness.
Do you flare up at the slightest mistakes and errors from others?
Are you patient enough to bear and tolerate the weakness of others?
Learn from the BATHROOM.
BATHROOM IS ACCOMMODATING.
Do you notice that we only run to the toilet, only when we need it? Yet, it will never block you from accessing it. BATHROOM will never ignore or reject you. If you like abandon it for years, any day you feel like going back to use it, it will accept and accommodate you. Your place and space will be reserved for you. How often do you forgive? How quick do you forget offence? How large is your heart? Do you correct in love or in anger? Learn from the BATHROOM.
BATHROOM FIX, AND FIRM.
The fact that we have mobile toilets does not change the integrity of the bathroom.BATHROOM will never beg anyone to use it. It will never shift ground for any reason. If you are ready to come, it will accept you, but for her to run after you is not possible. Learn from the BATHROOM
BATHROOM HAS ENTRY AND EXIT.
Bathroom will never retain any rubbish and trash you give to it. The entrance to the bathroom is always wide, while the channel of transferring your dirt is small. BATHROOM has a large heart and will never keep record of wrongs.
How large is your heart? Do you have integrity at all? Can we trust your words? Why are you easily influenced? Are you not compromising in the face of trials and tribulations, especially when men ignore you? Learn from the BATHROOM.
Lastly, You cannot provoke BATHROOM, as you can do in the Living room. If you like make noise, sing, shout, keep silent, splash water in the BATHROOM, it will never complain.Do you also know that BATHROOM without any complaints whatsoever command respect. When you use it you take good care of it. If you do your part in the life of others you will be cleaned and sprayed with good perfume and deodorants.
Hmmmmmmm. Do you see the correlation between the BATHROOM and human life?Let us learn from the BATHROOM.
GOOD NIGHT FROM ADMIN TEAM.

COVID-19: Nigeria
We all know the new words that has been added to our dictionary today due to their regular use this year. Some of these words are: palliatives, coronavirus, COVID-19, face mask, nose mask, social distance, lockdown, quarantine, stay safe, stay-at-home, recovery, new infection, etc. Now let me tell you about COVID-19 and how it came into my country.
COVID-19 is a family of coronaviruses that causes mild to severe respiratory illnesses such as: Cough, head ache, loss of taste, loss of appetite, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, etc. It was first discovered in Wuhan, a town in China, in November, 2019 and has already spread to most of the town and it's surrounding cities before it was reported to WHO in December 2019. By January, 2020 all continents except Africa has reported at least one case of the virus.
The incubation period for COVID-19 is 2 - 14 days after exposure to the virus. Most people who contract the virus will most likely recover, with over 80% of people who get infected recover without needing intensive care. Majority of the severe cases are in those over 50.
Nigeria reported her first COVID-19 case on Thursday February 27 making it the second country in Africa to report at least an infection. With South Africa being the first. The first infection case in Nigeria was from an Italian expat who is based in Lagos and was just returning from his vacation from his home city in Milan. After the first case of the virus in Nigeria, Nigeria commenced contact tracing immediately. On March 23, 2020, Nigeria imposed a 14-day total lockdown of activities except essential services to curb the spread of the virus. At the end of the 14 days lockdown, Nigeria extended the lockdown for four weeks, to further curb the spread of the virus.
Due to the effect of the total lockdown on the Nation's economy, Nigeria decided to ease the lockdown in phases. The first phase lasted two weeks, the second, four, third, four, on and on. Following her decrease in fatality rate, Nigeria reopened her Senior Secondary Schools on Monday August 4, to allow her students sit for the West African Senior Secondary Schools Examination (WASSCE) but the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 restated the fact that decrease in fatality rate wasn't flattening the curve and so reopening of Schools Nationwide is dangerous.
Following the dwindling down of the number of cases and fatality rates in Nigeria, the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) said that it is now noticing the flattening of the COVID19 curve and sense that it was now safe to reopen schools Nationwide, but reiterated the fact that social distancing and other COVID-19 protocols has to be observed.

FACTS AT A GLANCE
McKinney, tx is a city in North Texas. It is the county seat of Collin county, Texas, USA. It is Collin's second largest city after Plano. A suburb of the DFW metroplex with Rich cultural history, McKinney is located on N. Central Expressway (Hwy. 75), about 32 miles (51.52km) Northeast of Dallas. In the 2010 Census, McKinney's population was 131,117 making it the 19th most populous city in Texas. As of May, 2017, McKinney was the fastest growing city in the States.
History of McKinney
McKinney, named for Collin McKinney, a signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence and early settler in
North Texas, has thrived as county seat of Collin County since it was first established in 1848. In 1913, McKinney adopted Commission form of government. For the first 125 years of its history, McKinney served as the principal commercial center for the county. The county seat provided farmers with flour, corn, and cotton mills, cotton gins, a cotton compress, and a cottonseed oil mill, as well as banks, churches, schools, newspapers, and from the 1880s, an opera house. Businesses also came to include a textile mill, an ice company, a large dairy, and a garment-manufacturing company. The population grew from 35 in 1848 to 4,714 in 1912. By 1953, McKinney had a population of more than 10,000 and 355 businesses. The town continued to serve as an agribusiness center for the county until the late 1960s.
By 1970, McKinney was surpassed in size by Plano . McKinney experienced moderate population growth, from 15,193 in the 1970 census, to 21,283 in the 1990 census. By the mid-1980s, the town had become a commuter center for residents who worked in Plano and Dallas. In 1985, it had a population of just over 16,000 and supported 254 businesses. Since then, McKinney's rate of increase has been much more dramatic. In the 2000 census, McKinney had grown to 54,369 with 2,005 businesses and in the 2010 census the population had more than doubled to 131,117 residents. [11] The Census Bureau's most recent estimated population for McKinney (July 1, 2015) is 162,898. [11] The most recent population estimate, produced by the city as of January 1, 2019, is 187,802. McKinney’s
commercial and residential historic districts have been carefully preserved as the community continues to
develop new technologies and unique destination niches. Visitors and residents alike relish the sense of place
and authenticity McKinney offers.

Do you remember those times?💭
When we played rhymes?🎤
With friends and family together?👨👩👧👦
The times when we all had fun together?⛹🏽🤼♂️
And the times when we'd always prayed for holidays?🙏🏽
A virus is steading through our land,🦠
Separating us from the warm feeling of our friend's hand,🤗
And socially distancing us away from our Dreamland.💭
So while I smile when I see you,😊
I may not shake your hand.😔
'Cos we are up against a faceless enemy. - "CORONAVIRUS"👽
A virus that has emptied our street,😟
Crippled major activities in Nigeria's seat,📉
And iced our loved ones so sweet.🤧
There's nowhere we can aim,🎯
There's no medication that we can take.⛑️
The truth is... We're "afraid."
Our Healthworkers, our protectors,🖤

A Review of TFL2019
Teenage Festival of Life is by far, the largest school event in Lagos. It is an annual festival organized by Action Health Incorporated to create a platform for young people to showcase their creativity through songs, dance, drama, essays and poetry while addressing the Issues that affects them in the society. TFL starts with a call for entry to all public Secondary Schools in Lagos, after getting the approval from the Lagos State Ministry of Education. In 2019, there were over 200 entries received, after which 38 schools battled it out during the pre-judging stage, before the final nine best entries were selected for grooming to perform on TFL stage.
The early stage of TFL usually begins in the second quarter of the year (April - June) with getting the approval from the ministry while the submission of entries lasts a month or a month and the half, prejudging comes up somewhere around late August to early September, the grooming lasts for a month (throughout October) and the TFL finale comes up on the first Saturday in November, but can happen two Saturdays earlier or later, TFL2019 was held at the University of Lagos' Main Auditorium with over 2,000 young people present for the festival as well as top personalities in bussiness, music government and film industry on Saturday November 2, 2019
Over the past 25 years Teenage Festival of Life (TFL) has brought to the forefront, issues pertinent to the well-being and development of young people. Last year wasn't different as we deliberated on a critical theme speaking to the empowerment of young people. The theme for last year's festival was "Empowerment for Life: 21st Century Skills for Young People."
A recent study by Darlbërg, revealed that Nigeria experienced economic growth from 2006 to 2016. However, it did not translate to a corresponding improvement with employment. Furthermore, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported that 55.4% of young people in the Nigerian Labour Markets are either unemployed or underemployed. It has even been further projected that Nigeria's unemployment rate will reach an all-time high of 33.1% by the end of 2020. The causes of these unemployment aren't far-fetched, factors arising from; high-youth population, skills-gap between the training received in formal educational institutions and the requirements of the contemporary job markets. Adding to that, there are also issues around out-dated school curricula, youth entering the labour market faster than the rate at which jobs are created and large population of youth employed in the informal sector. So do you see the need for young people to be educated on 21st Century Skills?
That is why TFL2019 availed young people the opportunity to be informed of the impending changes in the labour market, and the necessary skills needed by young people.
So what are these skills needed by young people?
That is a really good question, the World Economic Forum (WEF) identified 10 skills that are being looked out for by employers this 21st Century. I wonder how many of these skills young people have... Some of these skills include: Critical thinking (CT), Analytical Thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Technology design, programming among others. These skills are important to us now, than ever, therefore we must inspire students to be life-long learners, focus on 21st Century Skills and get empowered to help tackle real world issues.
The presentations portrayed the importance of acquiring 21st century skills. In order for to prepare for this approaching reality, government, businesses and individuals need to embrace agile life-long learning and find socio-economically inclusive and strategies and programmes.

Understanding 12 Qualities of Good Writing
By
INNOCENT David C.

Whenever I teach people the art of writing, they want to know what skills or qualities they need to possess to write well. It is usually a difficult task, but I have tried to aggregate some of the qualities that will make one a good writer .
According to popular writer, editor and literary critic, William Zinsser, “Good writing doesn’t come naturally, though most people seem to think it does.” This is one point about writing that many people do not realise. Many assume that once a known writer picks up a pen or hits the keyboard, wonderful writing springs out ceaselessly. Zinnser throws more light on this issue thus: “Writing is hard work."
A clear sentence is no accident. Very few sentences come out right the first time, or even the third time. Remember this in moments of despair . If you find that writing is hard, it's hard because it is hard.”
Everybody can write, but not everybody can write in a way that will excite and interest the reader to read from the beginning to the end and take positive action, as expected by the writer. In this era of the Internet when the attention span of people is short, and there are hundreds of materials demanding the attention of the reader, a writer has to do something different to get the attention of the reader and retain it.
1 . Every good writer is a good reader . Good writing does not just happen overnight. What the good writer does is to unconsciously regurgitate all the writings and styles of the good writers he or she has read over the years. If you hate to read, please don’t bother to dream about being a good writer.
2 . Like Friedrich Nietzsche says, good writers “would rather be understood than admired.” The most popular African book on fiction is Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe. Achebe wrote it when nobody knew him. He was not a professor of literature then, he was just a university student at Ibadan. He just wrote passionately about something that touched him deeply. He did not write to dazzle or prove that he was well - read. The result was that Things Fall Apart became a global classic.
Most times, the more educated we are, the less impactful our writing becomes, because we tend to write more to prove that we are “too much” than to be understood. Our writing, therefore, loses some originality and natural connection with the reader. The more educated we are, the better literary critics we become but the less good writers we become. In summary: good writers write to express, not to impress. Please note this.
3 . Creativity is a trait every good writer has. Good writers task themselves to bring out new ideas or present old or common things in new and exciting ways. They choose words that convey their thoughts best.
A lazy writer will use “lovely” to describe a lady, a car, a dress, a baby , a voice, a house and a handwriting. But, a good writer will say “a charming lady," “a sleek car," “a stylish dress,” “a cute baby,” “an angelic voice,” “an exquisite house,” and “an artistic handwriting.” These words create better mind images than using “lovely" for all of them.
4 . Good writers are passionate about the correctness of grammar. They have a love relationship with their dictionary – regularly confirming the meaning and usage of words. This is because good writers do not want to spread bad grammar all over the world. Bad grammar is a turn - off in communication. Note that wherever you see the department of English in a tertiary institution, you also see literature. Language is the channel through which literature is communicated. The same thing goes for Hausa and Hausa literature, Yoruba and Yoruba literature, Igbo and Igbo literature, etc. When you read the works of a great writer, you will learn correct grammar.
5 . Good writers strive for perfection. Is perfection possible? No. Our duty is to continue to strive to be perfect. When we strive for perfection, we achieve excellence. Excellence is praised and rewarded by the world.
By striving for perfection, we mean that good writers are never happy with their work. They keep fine- tuning it, looking for more appropriate words and expressions to use in every sentence. Good writers do not have the it - doesn't -matter mentality. This mindset makes people assume that anyhow something is done is okay. This works against good writing.
Good writers are not in a hurry to post or publish their works. They pay attention to details. They take their time to check both the correctness of every word or phrase and the appropriateness of every expression in the write-up. This may take days, weeks, months or years, depending on the type of writing involved. Writers are not praised or given prizes for finishing first; they are praised or given prizes for writing well. They are loved for writing well; they are talked about for writing well; they are quoted for writing well.
6 . A good writer must have good research skills. A good writer should know the subject of discussion deeply, have a thorough understanding of the target audience, write relevant, quality content that has a logical flow of events and still grabs the audience attention.
7 . Good writers are unique – that makes people want to read them. They create their own style. By unconsciously combining an amalgam of styles, good writers create a unique style that interests their readers.
8 . Good writers avoid clichés or trite and worn-out expressions. They avoid those expressions that people use regularly like “political quagmire,” “all and sundry,” “pay lip service to,” “met his Waterloo,” “easier said than done,” “neither here nor there,” “think outside the box,” etc. Use of clichés shows a writer that is not creative, a writer that is lazy, a writer that does not like to think. When a cliché comes out newly, it is exciting, but when everybody starts using it, try to avoid it as much as possible.
9 . Mind pictures are great tools good writers use to enthral readers. Good writers use words to create mind pictures. Good writers make their readers to visualise what they are reading. For instance: “Tears streamed down her face" is more exciting than “tears flowed down her face.” Such picturesque expressions create more impact. Good writers send words on errands.
10 . Good writers give the necessary information. There is a reason for every piece of writing. A good writer ensures that the reader gets all the necessary information in few words as possible.
11 . Good writers entertain while educating. A piece of writing should not be bland and colourless. While passing the information across, a good writer ensures that the reader is taken through some unforgettable journey. This entertainment may include the use of humour, fable, satire, irony, etc.
12 . Before boredom sets in, good writers end their writing. And they end on a memorable note . There are some write-ups you read and complain: “Is this not the last paragraph?” A good writer does not wait for the reader to get to that state before ending the write-up. The reader needs to ask for more at the end of the article not heave a sigh of relief.
Finally , a good writer is made, not created! Therefore, everyone can be a good writer. However, this is a personal choice that must be backed up with action.
Thanks for reading my article. I love you 😘

June Solstice
Solstice comes from two latin words: 'Sol' meaning SUN and 'Stice' meaning STILL or STOPPED. Combining the two words means the Sun Stand still. Solstices are used to describe two of the days a year when the sun is still for a brief moment in the sky. Solstices occur once in June and once in December.
June or Summer Solstice is the time of the year when the sun is farthest north in the sky. On this day, most places north of the equator experience the day with the longest hours of daylength, and places south of the equator, the shortest. Places even further north, in the Arctic circle such as in: Alaska, Canada, Russia, China, etc... The sun won't set for a whole day and there will be complete twenty-four hours of sunlight. This is called 'MID-NIGT SUN' or 'POLAR DAY.'
Opposite effect will occur in places south and for places in the Antarctic circle, the sun won't rise and there will be twenty-four complete hours of total darkness. This is called 'POLAR NIGHT.'
For most places north of the equator. i.e places in and around the Tropic of Cancer, summer begins on this day and vice versa for places in and around the Tropic of Capricorn.
June Solstice occurs generally on June 21. But can occur anywhere from June 19 to June 23 depending on when the sun reaches it's peak point in the sky (The Tropic of Cancer around 23.5°N). The difference between the official summer start date between the easternmost part of this Earth and the westernmost part is 24-hours. Meaning if summer starts on June 21 in the east, it will begin on June 22 in the west. The date varies and it depends largely on your time zone and sparsely does it depend on your latitudinal location on the Earth surface.
While it is the astronomical beginning of summer in most places in the north, it is mid-summer in the Arctic circle and mid-winter in the Antarctic circle due to the Polar regions having just two seasons: Summer and Winter. Most places except the polar regions have four distinct seasons: Spring (North: March 21 - June 20, South: September 22/23 - December 21), Summer (North: June 21 - September 21, South: December 22 - March 20), Autumn/Fall (North: September 22/23 - December 21) and Winter (North: December 22 - March 20). Climatic conditions during the June Solstice includes: rising temperatures for the northern tropics and subtropics and peak summer-like conditions for places further north. And freezing winter-like conditions for places in the southern region.
After the June Solstice, the sun starts making it's journey southwards for another seasonal cycle. It takes about 365.242189 days for the sun to complete a revolution.

Read This: A Letter from Me to You When You're Sad
Dear me,👋🏽
How are you? I hope you are doing great. May God continue to guide and protect you in Jesus' name.🙏🏽 (Amen)
Look in the mirror and tell me what you see...? The most beautiful, handsome, trustworthy and valuable person on Earth. You are who you choose to be, you are special because God created you in a wonderful way, quite unique from others. Please do not feel unhappy when other people laugh at you because you are different, instead laugh at them, because they are all the same. Do not feel bad when they look at you like a Monkey, instead look at them like a bunch of bananas. You are unique! And that is one of the things I like about you.🤗
Whitney Houston once said; "The greatest love of all is learning to love yourself." So please love yourself. Lemme tell you something; if you are trying to be normal, you'll never know how amazing you can be. Don't let the media or anyone control you, control yourself and love yourself.👌🏽
Do you know that you have my heart? And you and I will never be world apart... Even when I get married. You will still be my star!🤩 In the dark, I don't want to see you crying a river. I'm always there with you so share. Because, when the sun rise, we rise together, I'll always be here forever and will always be your friend till the whole promise stick unto the end. And when it is raining like never before, remember that we still have each other, so you can stay under my umbrella and me under yours shielding us from all the rain.☔
When the Love of My Life (L.O.M.L) eventually comes, know that you're still my entity, now till eternity. Wake up and see the most handsome man in the whole universe. You've got a special power, writing, and you should not be afraid to use it. So come on, this is your adventure, this is your fantasy: it's all about living carefully wild and free. You are no ordinary boy, you're wonderfully made by God. Anywhere in this world, you have got the power if you just believe in yourself.
It is so rare to find a friend like you, somehow when you're happy, my sky is always blue: The way you talk, the things you say, the way you make others feel okay and how you know all of my jokes, well that's because you are me and I am you and we laugh anyway.😅 If I could wish for one thing, I'll wish for you to have that charming smile on always and wherever you go in this world, I'll come along. Together we dream the same dream, forever I'm here for you, you're there for me... Two voices, one man.😊
Yours forever,
Me. 💓

Poetry can relieve the bottled up emotions of a healthcare professional,👩🏽⚕️
- The cry of the heart.💔
And can solve the problems of an Engineer,👷🏽♂️
- Time and energy of the hands.✍🏽
Engineering, the silent 'E' in STEM subject areas.
One pill can cure any disease.💊
One machine can do the work of many.🎰
But, no pill or machine can do the work of an Engineer that is ambitious.🤓
Biomedical Engineering,👩🏽🔬
A work of Science fiction.
A career for few,👫🏽
Extraordinary and new.🆕
I have a mission to accomplish,💪🏽
To bridge the gap between Biology, Medicine and Engineering.🧬👨🏽⚕👷🏽♂️
To thrive in every area I choose,💪🏽
And live life the way I choose.💃🏽
To succeed, I will work my way to the top.⬆️
No pride, just positivity and hardwork.💪🏽
I want to be all, rolled into one.🤞🏽
"Hello, I'm a Biomed Engineer" is what I'm walking towards.✊🏽
I have a right to dream,💭
Like every human in God's realm.
So, I set my standards high,
And follow every of my heart desire.🥰
I have an ambition,😃
To ask for fair wisdom and pain.🧠😩
Just like King Solomon, 👑
I have a prize to win.🏆
I have a vision,👁️
To think the impossible,🤔
Because with God, all things are possible.😇
And there is no limit to what I can do.💪🏽
The ambition of my life, ✊🏽
Is to soar high like a Kite.🦅
The sky is just a starting point.🆙
My deepest passion to what I can do, has no extent or limit.🪂
I have a goal,🥅
Not to quit before I start,✌🏽
Or to start, and then not take part.🙅🏽♂
But to be a Role Model you would look up to.🤩
I don't need negativity,❌
Just impossibility in reality.💯✅✅
I know it's not going to be fast or easy,😌
But, I know, that there is no such thing as SUCCESS OVERNIGHT.🙅🏽♂
Those who cheat haven't gotten it right.👌🏽
So, get used to hardwork if you want to get it right.😌
Success is not a broad or highway,🛣️
It is the narrowest way.☝🏽
My ambition in life,😁
Is not to tip-toe around the problems of my life,🚶🏽♀️
But, to tackle them squarely with a knife.🔪
Not to look at those already in their strife,☹️
And feel like I won't survive.😩
My dream is to take charge of every moment,💪🏽
Not to remain in my comfort zone expecting dreams fulfilled.👨🏽🦼
My success shouldn't hurt anyone,🤷🏽♂️
Neither should it hurt anybody when I hold up my chin.💁🏽♂️
I won't rely on those above me.🆙
Remember that boss means Busy Over Someone's Success (B.O.S.S.)😎
So, I won't sneer at those beneath me.😏
But, find inspiration from those around me.🤗
Finally, I want to live comfortably,☺️
Not necessarily... Rich.💰
But, free from envy of those around me.💃🏽
And someday, feed my light to someone else too.💩
Because; Together Everybody Achieves More! (Because we are a T.E.A.M)💪🏽

September Equinox
Equinox comes from two latin words 'aequus' meaning EQUAL and 'nox' meaning NIGHT. It is used to describe either of the two days a year when length of day and night are equal. Equinoxes occur twice a year, once in March and once in September.
September or Autumnal Equinox is the time of the year when the sun crosses the immaginary celestial line that divides the earth into two equal parts, i.e the equator. Compared to Solstice, equinoxes happens faster and the effects are not noticeable. On this day, every place on Earth has nearly 12 hours of daylight.
On average, Autumnal Solstice occurs on September 22 or 23 every year, but can happen a day earlier or later, depending on when the sun makes it's way past the Earth's equatorial plane. On this day, fall or Autumn begins in places north of the equator except the polar regions (i.e Arctic and Antarctic) where it marks the beginning of winter there, and places south of the equator it is spring time in places south of the equator.
For the northern tropical and subtropical regions, temperatures begin to cool off from the summer heat, trees shed their leaf and you change from wearing a plain shirt to a light jacket. Places south begins to heat up after the long dead winter and flowers starts to bloom and all creatures come out of hibernation, more fun outdoor activities and picnics. You change from thick sweater to a light knicker.
Something happens after equinoxes, for Autumnal Equinox, few days after the equinox, there'll be a day where the the length of day and night is equal, it's called equilux, meaning equal light. It happens somewhere around September 26. This shouldn't be confused with equinox. For further understanding of the two terms: equinox and equilux. You can go online and get more information about these astronomical terms.

DAY 12
Poem about STYLE (Final Part)
I know fashion when I see it...🙂
Models posing, critics complaining.😩
Paparazzi stalking, stars shining.🤩
I know fashion when I see it.🙂
I know fashion when I see it...🙂
Ballet flats, ladies prefer,🥿💃🏽
Perfume scents fill the air,😤
Bling-bling glistens everywhere.🤩✨
I know fashion when I see it...🙂
Crazy pants torn here and there,🤪
Cameras flash here and there,📸
Diet pills popped everywhere.💊🧘🏽♂️
I know fashion when I see it...🙂
Autographs and autographs to sign,✍️
And another autograph to shine!✨💃🏽
I know fashion when I see it.🙂
A fashionista, I hope to be,✌🏽
But worry not, for I shall soon be.☺️
A fashionista is my STYLE, being fashion crazy is my ATTITUDE.
In other words, it's my STYLEtitude!

DAY 12
Poem about STYLE
Here at Naomi's Stitches, you'll find most of the branded goods for clothes,🩳🩲👖👕👚🦺👗👙👘🥻🩱🥼🧥🧵🧶
Accessories and jewellery to take in latest fashion shows.🕺🏽
My love for fashion wildly grows.🥵
I cannot help but buy more clothes.🤗
Can anyone understand my psychological necessity?😟
I shop every pair of boots I see...🤩
From a few bucks designer piece,🤏🏽
To a pair of pricey luxurious sandals and necklaces.📿
Then, there's this face cap I spot. - OMG!!!😱
Has a very expensive price tag,🏷️
And a captivating design.🧢
I said to the shopman 'Let me try that one.'👉🏽
From Salon to Boutique searching for Gucci.😌
Catwalking in my Prada pair of shoes,🚶🏽♂️🚶🏽♂️🚶🏽♂️
T'is my exercise of insanity.🤭
Capturing leather pairs of footwears at my liberty.🕴🏽

DAY 12
Poem about STYLE
Poetry cradles me in a motherly fashion,🤱🏽
Wiping away some of the tears that are already old-fashion.👔
I am crazy over every trending fashion.👕
It's my urge and deep passion.😍
It's time to change my clothes and my closet.🚪
An Ankara top and a torn jeans patched and darned - All Set!👚👖👌🏽
With shades and canvas ready to be worn by me.🕶️👟🤏🏽
I'm going on a one-night shopping spree.💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
'Me in Ankara outfit, brings out my natural African beauty.'🤭
I said, standing in front of the mirror, admiring my multi-coloured outfit.🧵
I remember being caught unfresh, almost completely,🥴
Not until I had the camera and got rid of my semi-nudity.😜
I'm going for one frenzy shopping.☺️
With my blue Maliko leather bag🎒 and my sporty shoes - Come let's go shopping.🛍️
Naomi's Stitches in Lagos is the plug🔌 for almost everything.🛒
I'd strike a pose for a picture before I start my journey.😎

I know that this isn't a good place to discuss this, but I noticed that the bot, @TheRandomRewarder is tipping articles that meets it's criteria and soon points will be gone. Anyways, this is a welcome Development for @Read.Cash
But, I have lots of questions to ask about this new bot🤔
How do I know that I've been tipped? How do I attract the bot to my article? Is the bot automatic or manual? Is it controlled by one or more person or is automatic? These and many more questions are running wild in my head... Unanswered😣
Thank you @Doloresand @Jaysea1447 for inspiring me to write quality articles and to you guys, my subscribers. Thank you all for your support. I love you all😘

DAY 12
Poem about STYLE
Birds sing beautifully in their high pitched voices.🕊️
Lions courageously show off their bravery in jungles.🦁
Peacocks proudly flaunts it's feathers around the courtyards,🦚
And Snails... They are comfortable in their own shells.🐌 - LOL 😂
A Bird has a tail, a very fine tail,🦜
So does a Lion and a Whale.🐋
A Crocodile has a tail, a very ugly tail,🐊
So does an Elephant and a quail.🦆
They've all got one,☹️
But me, i have none.😩
I wish it were possible to buy one.🧙♂️
Then when I have a cent, I'd buy one.😌
In that blessed autumn season.🍂🍁
In that descending flurries, in robes of virgin white.🌨️👰
I thought should try something new, a light jacket for a reason.🧥
I remember black being the new white.🖤🤍

Hey! @samara07 I'm not being rude here
I've been commenting on her posts and mentioning her for the past 3 days reminding her of her Sponsorship prize and she refused to reply me even now she didn't reply to my comment and she decided to write an article about it
There was even a game on 3 digit something... I won, but she didn't send my prize
And another game of weekly Comment which she didn't give any update on
@angel0124 please explain why you haven't given any update on the weekly game stuff, you just decided to stop it after I have wasted my data commenting on your articles. Do you think you can be trusted.
Please I'm no longer interested in your Sponsorship prize. I'm just saying that if you can't organize giveaways and pay the winners their prizes or interact with them in the comment box, please stop the giveaways, you're being selfish.
I've tagged you many times to all these prize stuff and you don't reply any of my comments. I'm sure I'm not the only victim here many have this same issue. So please I'm not interested in your prize money, I'm just calling you to order, to redeem your promise to your subscribers. How can you be giving stupid excuses after every of your giveaways 🤦 I'm not after the prize money or anything I'm just telling you to be well prepared financially and otherwise before organizing giveaways and interact with your commenters if not, you're just being selfish, organizing giveaways with little prize of $0.02 - $0.05 to gain points for yourself. Let me tell you, those prize money can't buy even a candy in my country, I only join because of the fun of it...
Please I'm not reporting you, I just used that to get your attention because all my comments on your posts haven't been replied by you, yet you claim to read them. If I didn't use REPORT how then would I have gained your attention like this. So please stop being selfish. I only got to know about your decision to delete your account few hours ago. But you organized the giveaway with winners more than 3 days ago without any update

DAY 11
Poem about FOOD
`BREAKFAST` `TIME!🕖`
When talking about food,🍚
I do it in fun and silly ways🤭🥴
To aggravate that hunger for food,🤤
So you will yearn for quails.🍗
Today, I'll be exploring😊
My relationship with food.🤗
It's seven in the morning,
Which means it is time for food💃🏽
Breakfast, lunch, supper or dinner.🍽️
Can you guess what I'll have for dinner?😍
Lemon tea and goat milk is what I have,🍵🥛
Served with butter and bread, cut in halves🧈🍞
To break my fast, that's what I'll have😌
Out of my bed, I cut my calves🛏️😩
I know it hurts, but I'll still serve😖
My yummy-looking bread in halves🥪
`BRUNCH🍕`
What'd you call a meal eaten between breakfast and lunch?
I need a mid-day snack to munch, should I call it - brunch?🤔
I know it is not yet time for lunch,🙃
But I hunger for something to crunch.😋
Oh! Ham burger and vegetables🍔🥗
Served with ice-cream with peanut toppings.🍧
How my tummy yearns for that deliciously sweet taste,😋
Is what I cannot compromise, no matter the haste.😻
`LUNCHTIME!🛎️`
It's lunchtime, I need to eat something heavier👌🏽
My main dish, Eba will do, with a lobster.🍛🦞
Then maybe fruits and veggies, can come after🍎🥭🥝🍅🥑🥒🥕🍠🥙🥗😒
Veggies, aren't my favourites, but I'll counter🥗
`Nothing for Lupper😭`
I'm hungry again!😩
And it is not yet time for supper.🥺
Is there food eaten between lunch and dinner?🤔
What should I call it, Dunch or Linner?🍲
Or more fusingly - Lupper?🍜
`DINNERTIME🕕`
Suppertime, yay!🤗💃🏽 Supper is a large feast.🍱
I get to feast on whatever I want🤤
Eggs, fish, bananas or meat.🥚🍳🐟🍌🍗
But tonight, I will stick to soup and red meat.🍲🍖
