Deja vu
I was looking at the AAPL stock chart today (Apple Inc., you know - iPhone, Macs...) and I had a feeling of deja vu - I've see this somewhere before...
Can you guess where? Then it struck me...
This is the chart of Bitcoin (BTC)... Here's what happened next:
I think stock market (and maybe the whole global economy along with it) is in for a **big surprise** pretty soon... should be a pretty interesting test for real cryptocurrencies.

I think most of stock will be linked with cryptocurrencies.
Wow that's eerily similar.
Wow
I was stuck on the comment section for about 2 mins, thinking what to say. Just "wow"
F for apple
For sure the BigTech companies are full of surprises. In spite of the fact I am not a fun of Apple Inc. the company is very strong. I don't think that Apple will face the crisis Bitcoin faced with in 2018.
Well, the people are same everywhere. There's a thing called [Shiller PE](https://www.multpl.com/shiller-pe) - the author got a Nobel Prize - it shows how "overvalued" or "undervalued" the stock market in the USA is - it should be around 15... if it's higher - usually it means that stock market is due for a correction. It's now at about 31... The only time (in the whole US history) it was this high was before the dotcom crash. We're much higher now than we were even in 2008. There are actually much smarter people agreeing that stock market is overvalued: - https://www.cnbc.com/2019/12/31/apple-is-overpriced-by-100-a-share-tech-investor-paul-meeks-warns.html - https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/ray-dalio-recession-odds-25-recommends-fed-slowly-cut-rates-2019-9-1028503669 The people are same everywhere. They see a vertical raise of AAPL and stock market in general and they start FOMOing in.. at some point people would understand that everything is overvalued and start selling, then a panic sets in and it drops way below even the real value (which according to some analysts, at least for AAPL, is at least $100 lower than today). > I don't think that Apple will face the crisis Bitcoin faced with in 2018. I'm actually not even talking about AAPL, I think everything is overvalued and due for a big correction. AAPL is big and strong, but at the same time a lot of its value comes from buying stocks back with (probably) borrowed cheap freshly printed money (the corporate debt is through the roof, the FED's balance sheet is through the roof)... to me that sounds like what [Willy the MtGox bot](https://willyreport.wordpress.com/2014/05/25/the-willy-report-proof-of-massive-fraudulent-trading-activity-at-mt-gox-and-how-it-has-affected-the-price-of-bitcoin/) was doing, but at a country scale... (Not an economist, just my opinion)
Bitcoin chart have more ups and downs than any chart in the world lol...
I guess there is some malfunction in the site. It sometimes shows very old articles of me with like 6 or 7 read in total, on the front page ( for example, this https://read.cash/@Geri/my-best-computer-repair-stories-ff737147 ) and meanwhile it does not shows newer articles with dozens or hundreds of reads ( for example, this article https://read.cash/@Geri/japan-arresting-cryptocurrency-operators-8bc27c91 was not displayed on the front page at all ).
It's not a malfunction. The main page has a mix of articles that have been upvoted (the number of views is not considered) and mixes in some random older articles and some older interesting articles, because sometimes there is interesting stuff in the past.
okay. however, there are new articles on the site with like 3 read and 0 upvotes from the last 8 hours: https://read.cash/@Arias/organizational-climate-4813fc4c
I think your missing something, this article has a one $0.05 upvote...
It was showing 0 on the front page. Another example: https://i.imgur.com/4FpmXkw.png https://read.cash/@Cain/3-animals-09f1bbda
Yeah, this is kind of a legacy behavior. When the site was only starting - it did make sense to forward some of the authors (there's a list) directly to the main page, because there were too little on the main page. We will remove this behavior now.
Thankyou, i have found another issue: Upvote manipulation. I have upvoted one of my relatively new articles (with a lot of viewers) two times anonymously, and it fly right onto the second page. https://read.cash/@Geri/rape-does-not-exists-462c54fe With this method, people can upvote their articles without paying anything (except the mining fee, and the minimal few cent fee for the site) and they can have their article displayed. I dont know if its anything possible to do with this. If this would not be possible with Anonymous upvotes, it would possible for them to create more usernames and upvote the articles aniway (or if there would be some ip filtering, they could do it from another network or from a vpn).
> (except the mining fee, You also have to pay a 10% read.cash/affiliate fee Other than that, yes, you've correctly identified the behvaiour and the problems with identifying it. Usernames are easy to create, IPs are easy to change. We've known about this since the day we created anonymous upvoting. But it's a problem that requires a lot of engineering to solve and causing nearly zero issues currently, so we won't be doing anything about it until it becomes a real problem.
This behavior should be gone now.
Hi! I would like to report another bug: Accidentally, the whole column: https://i.imgur.com/kc6PC1h.png
Fixed.
Hi, a feature request, the authors should be able to delete comments below articles.
Frankly, I don't know. I don't think it's a good idea, I've never seen anything like that on other sites, where a user could delete comments of other users. We do have "blocking" planned, so that you can block a user, so that they you don't see their activity and they can't see your activity anymore. EDIT: Actually, **maybe** it would probably make sense that if somebody blocks somebody that these comments disappear for everybody. IDK, we need to think about it.
For example, i would delete comments from Aschatria from my blog https://i.imgur.com/zrmJtQ1.png Whats the point allowing the user provokating me? I could go to his/her blogs to provokate too.
Understandable. We'll roll out blocking sometime soon.
