There was a young man who served the Lord with his gift. He plays the Piano in his church with strong will and desire to serve God. Everyone knows him to be fervent in everything in Church. He comes early and leaves late from church. He is an adviser and encourager in the house of God. He is an ardent giver and also gives to support the house of God.
But he has a but in his life. He sleeps with every lady around him. Whenever they come to learn how to play keyboard in his house, he uses the advantage to sleep with them and ruin their lives. Many ladies had aborted several pregnancies for him. Some, he forces to do his desire to have sex until one day......
One of the ladies that aborted came as usual to learn how to play keyboard. She was afraid and the man said "Don't worry, it is because we haven't been using protection. This time, we will use it and you won't have to be pregnant to the extent of aborting again". He went outside to a nearby pharmacy to get a protection but on his way coming, he was hit by a moving car and died on the spot.
His soul arose and was wondering what had happened. He saw his lifeless body on the floor dead. An angel came to him and lead him to a room.
The angel of the Lord opened all his atrocities as he couldn't deny it in heaven. He told him though he was a Christian and supports the kingdom of God but he wouldn't be able to make heaven because of those sins he has committed. He was told that he should have used 86 more years on Earth but because of this atrocities, he died prematurely.
Just as the title up there, people knew that this man is dead, and on earth, many of them kept testifying of those good things he has done.
First Person
John was a Christian in his life. He served God with all his life. When he plays the keyboard, he did it with his might and strength for God. I know he would be in heaven by now. The angels are happy and welcoming him.
Second Person
John paid my school fees and gave me everything I needed. He was a giver and always an happy person. I believe he is in heaven and the angels are rejoicing over him.
Third Person
John was an happy man. He always smiles and always send me message of faith and hope. He made me understand the true God who gives hope. He was not tired to help people around him. God is happy with him right now.
Fourth person
What a pity. John knew he would die because of his post on Facebook. He wrote "I know I have fought a good fight. I am not scared to die because I know where I am heading to which is Heaven". He is surely in the bosom of Abraham now.
These are different testimonies from people and even the Pastors judged him to be in heaven now. But do they know those things he has done secretly? The lives he has killed and the girls he has destroyed? They didn't see that but they judged him to be in heaven because of his good deeds.
What have you been doing secretly which no man couldn't see but God sees it all? No matter our goodness on Earth, if we aren't of God, Everything we do is useless to Him.
When a person die and is being buried, the pastor would preached and concluded that "We know he or she is in heaven because of the way he or she had lived his or her life on Earth".
That is man's judgement which has nothing to do with God's judgement.
It is appointed to die once after which is judgement. There is no repentance in heaven. John tried to plead for Mercy but he was not forgiven. He had the chance to repent then but he misused it.
When my mom died, it was during the Ramadan Period. Many people said she would make heaven because she died during fasting and prayer. Of course I know this is just words from human being but God has the final say. He knew everything we don't know about people. What we do in the secret is opened to God.
We need to check our lives to see if we are still on track with Heaven's goal. It will be so sad when all we have lived for on Earth are nothing to God. It would be a wasted effort even though we enjoyed our lives then.
This is something for us this morning to ponder on.
