St. Maarten's MP Brison Officially Adopts Bitcoin Cash!

Eventually, Bitcoin Cash will dominate as a Means of Exchange. Each small step we make creates a massive leap forward for Bitcoin Cash to achieve global adoption.

Merchant adoption is on the rise in multiple regions (Caribbean, Venezuela, SE Asia, Africa, Australia), areas where BCH evolves into an alternative currency, transforming the payment habits and providing a solution to the adverse effects of the recurring inflation of fiat currencies.

Yesterday we read news that makes the whole cryptocurrency field rejoice, with Bitcoin Cash achieving the unthinkable.

Member of the St. Maarten's parliament (Caribbean nation), Rolando Brison, has officially announced he is the first MP worldwide to accept his salary in Bitcoin Cash (BCH).

Moreover, Mr. Brison announced his plans to propose a decree for Bitcoin Cash to become legal tender in the Caribbean nation.

Bitcoin Jesus, Roger Ver, deserves our respect for everything he has accomplished for Crypto throughout the past 12 years.

Bitcoin Cash - Just Like That!

Mr. Brison proves some politicians understand the needs of the people, and officially adopted Bitcoin Cash. As Mr. Brison announced in the video, his monthly salary will convert into Bitcoin Cash, and he will be transacting with this cryptocurrency for his monthly expenses.

The people of this Caribbean nation will benefit from Bitcoin Cash adoption above anyone else. Bitcoin Cash is safeguarding their future, away from the menace the fiat currencies represent.

St. Maartens will probably soon become the first nation to adopt Bitcoin Cash as a legal tender since MP Rolando Brison plans to present BCH to the parliament.

The news was announced on Reddit, Youtube, and immediately Bitcoin.com covered the event on its website.

Crypto fulfills its utility in the Caribbean with Bitcoin Cash.

Mr. Brison is also considering legislating in favor of NFT transactions as well, and together with Bitcoin Cash exempting transactions from taxation.

As expected, though, cryptocurrency media (Coindesk, Cointelegraph, Dailyhodl, Decrypt, and the rest of parasitic news outlets, driven and owned by speculative BTC maxi traders), suppressed this news and did not cover it in their publications. 

The BTC maximalist regime that operates these crypto media once again proves its short-sightedness by hindering innovation and censoring progress. The stance of these media all this time was eager to present any negative Bitcoin Cash news, but avoid mentioning everything BCH has accomplished so far.

For this reason, in my previous post, I concluded that Bitcoin Cash can bypass these untrustworthy websites and the lack of BCH coverage, by using professional agencies that will present the success stories within mainstream channels. These are the top news websites (Reuters, BBC, Bloomberg, CNBC), those the mainstream still considers credible, and those that can present Bitcoin Cash to millions of their users.

In Conclusion: Bitcoin Cash is Money For The People

This is a massive success for cryptocurrencies in general, mostly for those driven by utility and not speculation. While currently investors are speculatively attracted to this market, eventually the blockchain networks offering fundamentals will achieve a better position and fair valuation.

Adoption is the long-term remedy to the irrational preferences of the crypto market.

Bitcoin Cash offers an escape from the troubled fiat-based economy, a legacy financial system that bankrupts nations and diminishes living standards.

Bitcoin Cash is sound money, with a limited supply of 21 million BCH, and a robust network offering virtually instant transactions and practically zero fees.

This is the money for the world.

Bitcoin Cash follows the dream of Satoshi Nakamoto, and no matter where he is today, he is probably proud of his creation, which did not adjust to the demands of bankers and Wall Street but proceeded with the vision of directly competing with fiat currencies.

BITCOIN CASH IS THE FUTURE

I write the above sentence, fully aware what it means, as I envision the most probable future, the digital age that is approaching, and often predict and describe it within my work.

I wouldn't follow Bitcoin Cash if I didn't truly believe in its potential.

Bitcoin Cash is what I expected Bitcoin (and crypto) to be when I entered this field five years ago.

Great news for Bitcoin Cash community and crypto in general.

This made me realize two things: bitcoin is cash and the tomorrow of crypto is bitcoin cash. For me, it's a no-brainer to use Bitcoin Cash as an alternative to other financial instruments (legal tenders, etc) that we have today. However, knowing that there are more people that see the value of BCH with this function made me realize how vital are the reliability and the performance of a token. Likewise, how Bitcoin Cash defies existing coins in the market.

I hope that this could start mass adoption. Waiting for Filipinos to do the same thing because, to be honest, only Bitcoin Cash is the token that fulfilled the perceived idea of what cryptocurrencies should be.

Thanks for this information. I am really outdated nowadays with the cryptoworld.

There wasn't much going on in 2022, unlike the previous year. I can't tell this is a bear market, not for Bitcoin Cash either, and perhaps we will see some wonderful action soon. Concerning adoption, it is the number one priority for Bitcoin Cash. Certainly with the numbers of Filipinos in read.cash and noise.cash, I think it would be remarkable to start finding shops and businesses accepting BCH. Maybe some could lobby politicians to discuss the financial innovation crypto represents with the current government and perhaps it could relax some restrictions. If I remember correctly crypto wasn't allowed besides trading in the Philipines.

I agree with that! Totally, 2022 isn't a great year for cryptocurrencies but it isn't a bear market either. Seeing how cryptocurrencies, particularly, Bitcoin Cash was gradually gaining their momentum back is a great indicator of what has to come for the next months. Those ideas are great (although, I'm skeptical with our politicians). More than the idea of innovation, some are into profit only which makes it almost impossible to adopt cryptocurrencies as a mode of transaction in the country. Likewise, existing laws have a vague interpretation of how digital money should be implemented in the Philippines. Nevertheless, cryptocurrencies are welcome but, IDOs and ICOs without SEC's regulation are strictly prohibited.

Oh, I just wish that youth-led and start-up businesses would make crypto mass adoption possible in the Philippines. I am ready to support it!

Right now, I am considering the economic situation and predict that even the euro will take 5-10 years to recover from the rising inflation and this is the positive scenario. Money in the bank, lost 10-20% since last year. I can cover for some immediate needs, but the plan seems to be to transition in crypto completely. With the inflation probably lasting for years and increasing to a state nobody can predict, maybe holding all our crypto will save the day. I haven't sold anything for fiat since inflation started rising in the EU months ago and reached 5%. Now it seems 10% is innevitable. Not bothering to sell my BCH but planning to increase and accumulate as much as I can.
