June Report: 2.45BCH Rewards
Read.cash and noise.cash Bitcoin Cash rewards do not stop.
The price of cryptocurrencies, though, delivered a blow to my portfolio that made me consider what to write in this report since, in terms of USD, it was only a bloodbath for the last few months and I'm suffering losses.
BCH's price is suffering more than anything else since far too many elements that seemed to be friendly were instead playing games and betting against the success of Bitcoin Cash.
The result was catastrophic for BCH, so for the time being the banks are winning the game, finding no opposition from centralized Lightning and Blockstream.
The losses Bitcoin Cash suffered reduced our purchasing power, yet this is the same for every cryptocurrency holder since nothing was spared (again).
Anyway, I added 2.456BCH to my wallet during a productive month (June) where I published 29 articles.
The Report
Read.cash Rewards 2.23BCH - $236.21 (same in euro since EURUSD=1,00)
June was yet another month with decent BCH rewards, although not in USD.
The price decline of BCH was increasing the cost of the rewards system considering the BCH rewards that Marc De Mesel pays for exclusively.
We should respect that Marc keeps supporting the writers and bloggers, and tips keep flowing in read.cash.
I'm glad that nobody reacted negatively to this but understand that with time, the price of BCH may rise or drop, but volatility should not become an issue to the main benefactor of this platform.
Mark is remarkable with his contribution, as always.
One of my late June articles received a $200 tip from Marc De Mesel, although I didn't include it in my June report, I will add this tip in July's rewards report since it was given at the beginning of the month.
The article is this one: The CoinFlex Chronicles: Mark Lamb Vs Roger Ver
An article where I presented the events that transpired, and I didn't publish it to help in one way or another, but perhaps there are a few that don't understand why criticism, transparency, and accountability are demanded.
Anyway, Marc liked and tipped the article for $200, and made me feel some people value my work.
I didn't write it for any Reddit admin but for my followers whose opinions I value.
Considering the price, it will go higher with the new bull run.
It will go lower when there is a bear season like now.
It's always been the same with cryptocurrency since they pegged every algorithm to BTC in this clown market.
My Tips To Other Authors: $30
I tipped $30 to other authors on read.cash, at a 14% rate of the tips I received, and I will keep tipping users accordingly.
I'm still at 13th place and getting close to increasing by one or perhaps two spots by next month.
Noise.cash 0.22BCH
Noise cash is incredible, and no matter the reduction of rewards in terms of USD, it didn't drop at all considering the Bitcoin Cash size.
I love noise.cash (and read.cash).
Noise is fair to users, and has a decent system right now blocking spammers from tips and supporting all those treating it properly. I have a great time in noise.cash, no matter the rewards, and I think it is the same for everyone else.
We all expect more upgrades, modernization, and new features, and with time, Noise will gain a rightful place among mainstream social media.
I don't know if Simon or Marc reads this, I still think that noise.cash especially has decent chances to reach out to millions of users.
Medium
I've already written about the importance of Medium, yet I wasn't expecting such a reception in the last two months.
I won't present the amounts paid by Medium, though, since this wasn't in cryptocurrency, but I will only mention it was decent enough, and the rewards continue to increase in July. This money is taxed in the US, by the way, and informing my tax authorities as well, so probably it should be held private.
A few Medium members liked my content and decided to support my work by paying their Medium subscription using my referral.
I am grateful to everyone that supported me in this approach and subscribed using my Medium registration process.
Medium doesn't need an advertisement concerning its payment policy. The amount is not too much for me but not insignificant either.
Medium payments are also taxed in the US (for foreign partners of the platform) with 30%, an amount that doesn't get taxed in my country again, though.
Some of my recent articles enjoy high traffic on Medium, although I had similar traffic results last year again.
Of course, last year, during the end of the bull run, interest in cryptocurrency was higher. However, the reads from Medium subscribers matter (considering payments), and the time these users spend reading our articles increase our payments.
Medium is turning out to have more potential than I expected, and as the quality of my work increases, the payments also improve.
I recommend writers in supported regions to sign up as Medium partners. The rules of the program and the countries supported are listed here.

Hive - Publish0x
Concerning Hive and Publish0x:
i) I didn't use these platforms too often
ii) The rewards were insignificant for the posts I republished
Some of my articles did well on Publish0x, although, as I previously mentioned, I doubt the number of views is organic since even when an author refreshes the page, the number of views increases.
I may have earned $10 in both or perhaps higher since Hive also gives some tokens, but I haven't calculated it.
In Conclusion
I was thinking to stop writing for the next few months because of an exam I have to take and the pile of books I have to read, but I concluded that I could perhaps keep publishing once every two or three days.
And it is not about profit since I keep almost all rewards in crypto (mostly BCH), barely sell anything, and invest occasionally. The prices have already dropped so much everyone in crypto is losing money in 2022.
Writing for me is a re-ignited passion, and considering the time I spend on it, what I earn is not enough to pay my bills.
The monthly rewards in USD or euro terms (since the euro dumped and is now 1:1 with the USD) are the lowest since I started writing in 2021 (just 236 euros). This is basically about the cost of my electricity bill, so, no, I don't write for the money. I mostly do this to see where it can lead me to.
Adding the Medium rewards, probably it is enough to cover other expenses, but then there are taxes too, car and home maintenance, and the living cost lately with the high inflation is rising exorbitantly.
In fact, this year I am down significantly from the cryptocurrency price drop.
The fact that crypto will recover and the followers' numbers in read.cash and Medium push me to choose not to quit even for just these three months that I will need to study.
Medium was also one of the factors that helped me decide with plenty of new followers added.
