Bitcoin Cash crowdfunding platform Flipstarter has so far fully funded 96 projects with a total of 11,546BCH.
Flipstarter is one of the most successful Bitcoin Cash projects. Anyone can create a flipstarter and ask for funding (in BCH) and proceed with the planned developments.
A while ago, Bitcoin OG, Mike Hearn expressed his support of flipstarter and delight in the current success of a project that followed his vision (with Lighthouse), back when he was still a lead Bitcoin developer.

Flipstarter has accomplished decentralized P2P financing and presented the vast utility of Bitcoin Cash.
Active Flipstarters:
The website Flipstarters on Bitcoin Cash contains new and expired flipstarters and provide more links to announcement page, while also keeping an archived copy for each proposal. Anyone can add a flipstarter on this website. The submissions are manually accepted in a matter of hours.
Currently, there are four active flipstarters with some promising exciting events and developments.
- HackSmart!
HackSmart! - Where the Smart Money Is! A 48 Hour Hybrid SmartBCH Hackathon in London & Online.
HackSmart! Is a 48 hour hybrid hackathon in May 2022 in London to introduce talented blockchain developers to the power of SmartBCH. Attendees can connect with peers and hangout in a fun in-person & remote work environment, while building exciting projects!
The flipstarter for the "HackSmart!" hackathon by Coinriot is back and has eight days left to be filled.
The Coinriot team had to put on halt the previous flipstarter as the "unreasonable" decline in the price of Bitcoin Cash during January and February changed the budget demands significantly. The team had to re-organized and restart their crowdfunding activity and has now restarted the crowdfunding process.
Currently, 187.10 out of a target of 425.00 BCH have been pledged by the Bitcoin Cash community, a 44% rate.
At the time of writing, the minimum pledge is 0.396BCH.
Nine donators have contributed to the HackSmart event so far with Mike Komaransky, molecular, Satoshi's Angels, and Jeremy (The Bitcoin Cash Podcast) between others.

The flipstarter will expire in one month and has a goal of 10BCH, with 0.63BCH filled so far. The minimum pledge currently is set at 0.016BCH (~$6) and it can attract many pledges that can easily meet this amount.
Saleem plans to improve the flipstarter layout, allow more options for the flipstarter creators, restructure the creation page, and some more adjustments that will make flipstarter better.

- PumpParrots: An open NFT Gaming Project on SmartBCH
With this flipstarter developer Mathew Rincon asks for funding for his NFT/blockchain game development of the project "Pump Parrots" on smartBCH.
This flipstarter expires in 20 days and has a target of 35BCH. The developer has also released an NFT series on the project's website.

The flipstarter will expire in three days with low chances of achieving the 30BCH target.

Four flipstarters are active with two of them having good odds of success.
A failure to attract funds should not be a deterrent for future submissions. A reasonable and professional approach attracts attention and even in case the target is not reached, the experience gained and the knowledge acquired will be useful for the next time.
I have reviewed the previous HackSmart flipstarter and regard it as a significant event for smartBCH and Bitcoin Cash. This step will produce long-lasting effects for smartBCH, and perhaps it should even be considered for a yearly event.

Flipstarters can be about anything, and depending on the effects these operations will bring to Bitcoin Cash, they can succeed or not. Anyone with a decent plan can try, but better by using common sense, since you will be asking for funding from a community with the only guarantee being prior experience in the field.
