Here in the UK I buy a brand of ginger tea called 'three ginger', which includes among its ingredients ginger, galangal and turmeric. From that I am assuming that turmeric is part of the ginger family? Anyway the tea just tastes like ginger, so I am hoping it is a good way to get all the health benefits of turmeric that you list.
