Day: 8th December 2021
Seventeen days to Christmas, things don't seem to be doing well, and when I say this, I am being serious. I know you may be wondering what I am talking about, so let me put it more in detail.
This statement may not be accurate, but based on what I have seen in the previous years, I am starting to think December is cursed, and the reason I am saying this is because it is only during December that I start hearing so many deaths.
When I woke up today, I never expected to receive the news that my swimming instructor had died, and I recently just talked with him, I had only known him for a few days, but he was a really nice guy.
If you had told me he would die, I would never have believed it because he was such a young man, and he didn't deserve to die at that age.
His death taught me that life is way too short, and you never know when you would have to leave this world, I am still so shocked because his death is something I never expected, and I never knew a person's death could be so painful.
I don't want to talk much about that, so let me leave it there and continue with this article.
Today, I want to list a couple of things I want for Christmas; I hope you enjoy it.
Good Health
If we don't have good health, there would be no life, and we all know health is wealth.
I have not been feeling good for some time now, and I am praying that I will receive God's healing in my life; I hope it won't affect me from writing and interacting on the platform.
I am sure someone is also not feeling well, and maybe you are trying your best to interact and earn on this platform.
This December, I pray you will receive your healing and be rid of any disease that is holding you down, no matter the ailment, you will receive your healing by God's grace.
No disease is more potent than God's power, and I am sure he will show his power in your life, and by the end of this year, you will receive the healing you want; nothing will follow you to 2022.
Safety for everyone
During this time, it is never good to hear any news of accidents or deaths, and that is why I pray that no one gets hurt or injured in any way; whether you are at work or coming back from work, nothing will be able to harm you.
The world is dangerous, you never know what could happen, and the unfortunate news about my swimming tutor has taught me that death is unpredictable, and accidents happen.
I pray for everyone's safety this month, and I know that I will see you all in 2022; we will all enter next year and celebrate the new year with all our family members; nothing will cause us to weep or be sad.
Goals
I am sure we all have goals we are yet to accomplish, and you may be feeling sad you weren't able to reach your target this year.
Don't be discouraged that you couldn't reach some goals this year; even if the year is ending, that doesn't mean that your life is ending.
The new year only means you have more time to accomplish what you want, and nothing is going to hold you back.
A new year means you have to make new goals to pursue, but don't let yourself be overwhelmed by all your goals, instead learn to relax and treat yourself well because you are the most important person.
A new year means you have to become a new "you," and when I say new, I mean you have to become a better person.
Drop all your old negative habits, and adopt new healthy habits that would help you achieve anything you set your mind to because entering a new year with bad habits won't benefit you.
I hope we all have a great December and enter next year healthily, better, and safe from any harm that would come to us.

December was used to be the traumatic month to all of us, my family. It's because of what you've said, death. Previous years, we experienced losing someone we love at exactly the month of December, and that was also the saddest Christmas we ever had.
