I don't think we know the magnitude of Copyright ©. Do you really want to know the full details of Copyright ©, just flow with me as I take you through some things we need to know about Copyright ©.

Copyright © is basically is the right owned by a particular Author. It's denoted with this sign "©" anywhere you find this sign, it means such author's is guaranteed by Copyright law .When we write or carry out our work, we have have the absolute supremacy over what we have written. No one else have the right over what we have written. We can boldly say that all the Articles we have been writing here on this platform is ours. Even if the owner of a particular work is dead. The person's work is still guaranteed by Copyright. Copyright isn't a small thing. The magnitude of Copyright is not the way we take it with levity hand.

Did you know?

Do you know your work is guaranteed by Copyright even though the person is dead. Coz if if the person, another person can stand stand up from nowhere and find for the work. When I say "Work" I mean, a written work or video eg; novels, movies, story books.

Laws of Copyright ©

There are some certain principles governing Copyright ©, there lot of them which we have to know, or else we will violate the laws, and it can lead to what we don't like. Among them we have;

  • Don't plagiarise!!

This law is one of the basic and fundamental law, which isn't accepted by the law of Copyright ©. For instance, we write a particular Article here on this platform, on the long run, we now find out that, the Article was edited by another author. We have the optimum right to do anything we want to such person, because the person has violated the rule of Copyright. Plagiarism is all about copying and pasting other Author's work, and then disguising as if it yours. It's a violation under the law of Copyright ©. Know this and know Peace.

  • Don't Translate Other Author's work

Some people tend to Translate what a particular author has written to Another language. For instance; A particular novel written in English by an Original Author. It's a violation if another author comes up to translate the Novel to French. It's not accepted under the law of Copyright ©. We all have to adhere strictly to the law of Copyright © as an author or blogger. All these are essential.

  • Producing Pirated copies of other Author's work

Another violation of law under copyright is trying to make making fake copies of original work of other Authors. This is not widely accepted in Copyright. We have to know all these as an article. Though we have limitations to this laws, it will be discussed in the next Article.

Final thought!

We have alot of laws guiding Copyright ©. As I have said in the first place, copyright isn't something we can take with levity hand. We have to know the magnitude of Copyright ©. There are limitations to those rules listed above. That will be analyzed in the following article. Stay tuned for this.
