Greetings

Hope you are having good health! Today, I have chosen different topics all the time. Every country has a different kind of specialties in their food. If you can talk about drinking, In non-Muslim countries I have seen many where that they prefer Alcohol over any other thing. Some countries prefer coffee over any other thing but here in our country Pakistan we prefer Tea over any other thing.

In Pakistan there is a different kind of craze of tea, like here Pakistani people use Tea as their medicine. If you have any kind of depression, stress, etc. By taking just one sip your all worries will be gone.

In this article, we can discuss different types of tea in Pakistan. Here I said a “types” word before Types means “flavor”.

So, Let’s start our article:-

Different Tea types in Pakistan in delicious flavors

Pakistanis love of chai and cricket comes together in the quick modern era due to chai and cricket being a longstanding tradition and culture in Pakistan. Pakistani people traditionally start their day with chai served as bed tea in upper-class homes.

Tea is also a part of breakfast in countries in the middle-class bracket. At a Dhabba (also known as a truck stop), truck drivers, laborers, and others in remote locations eat the food prepared in clay utensils (also known as Matkas).

To sum it up, the actual presentation of Pakistani culture is incomplete without chai.

 Typical tea blends in Pakistan:

Cha varies significantly from person to person, depending on their personal preferences. These tea leaves and milk, and various spices are blended to give this tea a wonderful flavor.

We are trying to describe some of the tea flavors that are available in Pakistan.

Mélange

In Pakistani homes, nearly all tea is prepared using a pan of mixed tea, in which tea ingredients are added and boiled for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Separate/Dissolve tea

Because I am Pakistani, this type of tea refers to English style tea as different, with the water first boiled with the tea leaves, and then the mixture of tea leaves and milk is added.

 Doodh (milk) Patti

Doodh Patti is the other half of mixed tea's sweetness. Other than tea leaves, only milk and sugar are added to this drink. The drink is available everywhere, even at truck stops and Dhabbas.

A fragrant, Masala Tea

Spicy tea is locally known as masala chai. This can be found in the southern part of the country in the winter months. Cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, pepper, and you can also add various other local spices to this blend.

The Kashmiri tea

Kashmiri tea is prevalent in the region but also has a great admiration in the rest of the country. The pistachios and almonds were on top of the pink dessert, such as strawberry ice cream. This is a typical blend at weddings, celebrations, and other happy occasions.

Matka chae/Tea

In recent years, Matka Chai has become a tea trend, and especially during the winter season. This is a sweet tea that has some spices added to it (usually cardamom). The fascinating thing about cooking a clay cup over the flames and dipping it in the tea pan to get tea is that it begins to boil. Tea in a cup placed on a heat source begins to sizzle.

Herbal Kehwa

Kehwa is a herb in northern areas with different flavors found locally. Pakistani kehwa is a strong tea brewed in most parts of the country. People serve it with sweets and heavier dishes as a diet beverage with a side of food.

Green/herbal tea

Only herbal tea doesn't contain any Camellia plant family leaves. There are three varieties:

South African rooibos tea

Mate tea, if you wish

infused herbal teas

Herbal infusions contain only the plant material of herbs, flowers, and fruits. In northern locations, where it gets cold in the winter, it is popular to drink hot tea to stay warm.

There are also some other herbal blends like:

Tamura

Gilgit Baltistan's Tamura tea is unique in its herbal character. This tea features the fresh, wild herbs of high-altitude locations boiled with water to make herbal tea. You relax instantly after using it.

Daarcheni(cinnamon) chae/tea

These varieties of herbal tea are the most challenging. Cinnamon bark is used to infuse black tea leaves and milk together to make a simple cinnamon tea.

Closing thought

These were some basic famous flavors of tea. Hihi! I know more but I thought why not ask you people that, Have you found this topic interesting. Tell me should I make a part 2 of it.

Here at home, we drink coffee in the morning and also in the afternoon. The aromatic herbal tea is made hot to drink at night before going to sleep. The aromatic herbs we use are peppermint, basil, mint, lemon balm. It relaxes us, for a peaceful sleep.
