Physical inactivity is a common problem for a modern person. The concept itself means a sedentary lifestyle.

The causes of the disease can be both organic (functional changes in the body) and provoked by external factors. For most children, it is precisely the second option that is characteristic - the appearance of gadgets inevitably led to a limitation of their physical activity. This is a kind of social disease, which must be addressed in a comprehensive manner.

Root causes of the problem

If you are faced with the fact that the child quickly gets tired even with minimal physical exertion, does not like to play sports, then the first thing to do is to undergo an examination. Modern clinics suggest an integrated approach to solving the problem - an initial consultation with an experienced pediatrician, neurologist and cardiologist.

Physical inactivity contributes to the formation of problems in the work of the respiratory and cardiovascular systems. This is due to the fact that there is no regular load on the muscles responsible for blood circulation through the vessels.

Lack of blood flow to the brain leads to cognitive impairment - it becomes more difficult for a child to concentrate on the educational process, he has difficulty remembering new information. It also increases intracranial pressure.

Expert recommendations

Only 10% of the adult population regularly go in for sports, and no more than 8% of children regularly attend sports clubs. Therefore, if the child does not have physiological reasons for physical inactivity, systematic sports will become the main prevention and treatment of the disease. These can be both team and individual types.

For younger students, swimming remains the best option, since it helps to strengthen the muscles of the back, which forms a beautiful posture and has a positive effect on the work of the entire musculoskeletal system.

Another important aspect is the correct daily routine. Timely going to bed, getting up every day at the same time, has a positive effect on the functioning of the nervous system. Temperature and humidity levels in the room are responsible for quality sleep - ideally, the bedroom should be cool (no more than 23 ° C). Parents should also pay attention to the condition of the mattress.

If we add to this the obligatory daily walks, this will increase the overall energy tone of the body, make it easy to get through the daily stress that the child faces.

I always say that physical activity is very important for all of us, however, the photo of a man sleeping at a desk reminds me the most :)
