I have a friend when I was still a teenager... She is a negative thinker or a pessimistic. She easily thinks of a negative thing out of anything. For example, at her age of 30s... She still doesn't have a boyfriend. I was younger than her and have it already... So she's been thinking... "Maybe I'm too fat, ugly, and have a bad attitude, that's why no one likes me." And when her body is aching, she thinks that she has cancer or illness. She always thinks that way, and that makes me irritated. She always thinks of a negative thing even it's not yet happening. I always try to help her to think positive and not the negative one but she grew that way. And I think it's hard to change how she thinks. She's thinking too much about anything even it's not the actuality.
I'm thankful I'm not a pessimistic person. I can easily think of a positive thing out of a problem. And face it with that positive thought... And always end up with positive results.
So now let's differentiate the positive thinker or the "optimistic" to the negative thinker or the "pessimistic".
Let's take a look at this example:
Negative thinker/Pessimistic:
"Ohh... I received no points. How come I don't have points for today? I did a lot of comments, likes, publishing an article... But still, no points added? Do I really deserve this?? I don't like this. Read.cash should pay me.๐ฉ"
Positive thinker/Optimistic:
"Ohh... I don't have points. ๐คทโโ๏ธ But my recent article is so appreciated. Lots of comments and likes. ๐ This is a BLESSING. Read.cash really helps me to be good at writing and to know and interact with new friends. Maybe tomorrow I can receive points for this achievement. I should be thankful."
Can you see the difference? It is in the same scene, isn't it? But the way they react to that moment is different.
Which is better to hear? The pessimistic or optimistic?? Of course, the OPTIMISTIC!
So what is my point here? This year, we encounter a lot of difficulties. We even changed our normal life because of this pandemic. We didn't expect it to happen. No one does. But how can we handle it and still be happy in our everyday life? One thing we can do is to be positive all the time (not to the coronavirus please ๐). But on facing every difficult and tough situation. Be aware of every blessing that we received. From small details to a big one.
We may not stop the negative things to happen, but at least we know how to face it. We know how to handle it. We know how to think positive while facing the reality of life.
And one thing is for sure... Being optimistic can really influence others. So do everything you can to think that way.
Mind is so powerful that it controls your body how to react such situations. Negative thinking is unhealthy and so that is what the universe attracts. โบ๏ธ
