New acquaintances January 21, 2022

In my two months of stay at a school where I subsituted a teacher, I have meet fifteen teachers all with unique personality. Let me introduce them to you based on my experience. 1. Jose was the first teacher who inspired me by his teaching journey. At 27, he is on his way to be promoted to Master Teacher 1. He finished his master's degree three years after he got an item in DepEd. He is talkative and I almost know every detail of his life story. I also run to him whenever I need some stuff in the classroom. 2. Eliana is ten years away from retirement. She is my classmate as a commuter on my way home. At first, she seemed strict and she rarely talks to me but her heart softened and we became closer when I was on my last days at school. 3. Betty is outgoing. Even after coming from a maternity leave, she is still energetic and there is no sign of pain in her face. She smiles beautifully. She is chubby and has a long hair. She is smart too. She is the first teacher who guided me on what to do. She even invited me to come with her during the ceremonial lighting of christmas tree, milktea dates and invited me to come over their house durinf fiesta. She is one-call away. 4. Lina is one year away from retirement. Has white hair with bangs. Wear boots to school and she looks like some kind of cow girl. She is my classmate as a commuter also. She is also helpful and talkative. 5. Emmy is few years away from retirement too. She was the one who oriented me regarding the rules and the things that I have to do. She seemed firm and strict but her laugh is contaigious. She is dedicated towards her work. She has a good penmanship too and I like how she calls me by my name. 6. Elda is my new found bff. She is ten years younger than my mom and she stands as my mom at school. She would always invite me to come over to her classroom. She gives me snacks that she, herself cooks. She is caring and she seemed to be like a college friend. She is the in-charge of snacks and lunch everytime there are faculty meeting. 7.Mary is the school principal. Petite and small and she is in her fifties. She is cool and is fond of buying ice cream and bread for snacks. She has two daughters and her husband is a rich man who works at home. Recently, I learned that their house is the biggest in their barangay. True enough, when I was given a chance to take a look and see their place, it is like a mansion. But the kids were not at home. They are working somewhere. It was just Mary, her husband and a bunch of house helpers left at home. Mary is true to her sworn duty for she never came to school late. There are more teachers that I have been with for two months and they were all wonderful and unique. They have helped me in many different ways that they can. There were also non-teaching personnels who became friends . I am grateful for the oppurtunity to meet them all.
