Gloomy Thoughts
October 25, 2022
Hi! How's your Tuesday, read-friends? I hope you had a great work/school day today!
Five more days until November. Two months more and then a new year will unfold. The clock must be in a hurry. I wonder how urgent the appointment is. It doesn't get tired even though it doesn't take time to rest.
Tomorrow will be hump day. I also notice that the nights are longer and the days are shorter. At 5 pm, it's already dark and busy. Everyone is flocking to their respective homes, seeking shelter as the wind gets colder and colder.
The weather isn't that friendly today. It sometimes drizzles and then it pours. Somehow it causes inconvenience for people who commute. Students and workers would have a hard time waiting for public transportation. Not to mention the geeky feeling of having footwear soaked in floodwater. It's hard to be a commuter in the Philippines. The waiting game for public transportation would test your patience.
What happened to the weather these days? It's easy to blame everything on climate change but it's hard for us to be accountable for our actions. We fail to keep in mind that the little things we do contribute to the destruction of our home. We keep on living like it is our last. We are good at complaining yet we ignore the pressing issues. Little by little, we are destroying the home where we live in.
Possibly, a tropical cyclone will be formed as PAG-ASA spots yet another LPA. I hope it isn't as monstrous as Odette. It can be recalled that the said super typhoon happened in the same quarter last year. I overheard earlier that our local government had a meeting for the upcoming typhoon. While it gives me peace knowing that they are doing necessary preparations, it also caused me to panic. It must be something serious as the local government prepared for it. I hope I'm wrong.
How could we let our children inherit a home that's not safe anymore? How could we die in peace knowing that they are secure? May we save what we can save. As much as possible let us restore what we can restore. Let's be accountable.
Forgive me for spreading negative vibes. I just don't have anything to write. Lol.
How's the weather on your side?
Thanks for reading. Until then.

It might be because of the climate change. Or maybe it is just a rainy season. But no matter what it is I always pray for the safety of everyone. Cheer up though, it might be gloomy but we can be a sunshine to each other. Anyways, time flies so fast, so always cherish each day like it's your last day on earth.
