Failed Waterfall Visit
The day before October ended, I asked the husband if we could visit the waterfalls, it would be a good spot for him to take long exposure shots and he agreed. It was Sunday, but we had to wait for the baby to wake up so we can go.
By 3:30 PM, Matti was still sleeping so I just carried him and we went off, he was sleeping in the car the entire travel. I thought it would have been better if we had carried him earlier rather than waiting for him to wake up.
Tumalog is around a 15-20 minute ride from the in-law's place and we had to drive slowly because this town, unfortunately, had an ugly road, they definitely need repairs soon, well, the Oslob local government unit is already working on it, there are areas which are already starting the repair but they need to really do it fast! This is a tourist destination but their road is just so bad it makes you don't want to travel!
Anyway, we were at the crossing going up but we asked the local at the corner if cars can get inside as the roads are being worked on too. The local told us it's already closed, it closes at four and it just hit 4 PM when we arrived there, bummer!
So we had no option but to go back. We decided to check out the nearby Luka Coffee instead.
But we see no available parking slot. We drove around twice but no parking space still so we stopped behind the cars parked and thankfully, the motorcycle parking space got emptied as the customers went out already. The parking personnel helped us park there.
The cafe looked new, we had passed by this area a few times before but it was our first time checking it out. We ordered frappes and some cheesecake too. Matti and James went to the beach and played with the pebbles while I was just waiting for a table to be emptied.
There were quite a few people around, I am glad we were able to check this place. When there was a table available, Matti and James came inside and we ate and enjoyed our drinks.
There's no wifi inside but the data connection was pretty good so it was all fine. After a while, the other customers went out and so we were left with just us and the owner. We had a few chitchats and found their roots are from Mabini, Bohol. That's a neighboring town to Guindulman. However, I am not familiar with their family name.
As it was going dark, we decided to go out and bid goodbye to the owner and the cafe. The next day, we finally were able to go visit the waterfalls.

Too bad that on the selected day they could not visit the waterfalls, but they could go to a nice and comfortable place and also enjoy the beach.
The good thing is that they could go soon to the place they wanted and visit it, lately when my plans can not be done on the selected day it takes a long time to accomplish what I wanted to do, due to the little free time I have or my partner has haha.
I hope you continue to enjoy and travel to different wonderful places with your husband and watching your little Matti grow up.
