The term webinars may not be new to some, but there are those who don't have experience related to it. Now, let me share to you the insights of an author in this platform who have not yet experienced attending webinars but have her own observations through her mom. This is part of Write With me Collaboration Program which I have a call for collaboration in my article Ways on making an Interactive Webinar
Thoughts from @Ellehcim
"Now that the pandemic has unsurprisingly took over the world, it is honestly my first time in a long time to hear about the word "Webinar" again.
Gatherings are not really encouraged to prevent the further spread of the virus; thus technology made its way to the top of utilities that people use today, especially those who have jobs requiring constant communication.
Webinar makes disseminating information convenient, as people can come together, and have what we called normal meetings or seminars, the difference is just, everything is virtual. It's indeed undeniable that interactive webinars have its own strengths and weaknesses, but we can also take note that it is the best way to cope with the protocols set by the government concerning the COVID-19 situation. Personally, I am not much of an internet person. If you'd ask me, I prefer face to face communication, as at least, I can get a clearer view and understanding of a person's emotions, gestures, and of course, his speech. Moreover, I live in a country where the internet connection is really not promising. No matter how excellent my communication skills are, or how great the eloquence of the speaker is, all of its benefits will just go down the drain. Thanks to faulty glitches, broken audios, some signal feedbacks, and other issues caused by our sluggish friend. Yes, you read that right, the Internet.
I have been a witness of these webinars my mother have been attending to ever since she joined an organization about mutual funds, and financial literacy matters. I have seen a fair evidence of how external factors affect the effectivity and end results of it. Amidst all opinions I stated, I could still say interactive webinar is the most doable technique to keep the communication going among all types of organizations, be it businesses, educational institutions, and more. It is up to us to adjust with the issues we can't control, and just devise plans to make the experience better. "
In her insights, she emphasized the the role of the external factors in the outcome of a webinar. And I could not agree more with the faulty glitches, broken audios because of slow internet connection. The internet connection could really affect the conduct of webinars, and it's really my wish that one of these days, our internet services would improve for the better, not just in advertisement but for the real performance. I say for real because those internet providers are really advertising fast speed, unlimited internet, but on the actual, at most those promises are broken.
Due appreciation is given to those webinar organizers who tried their best to pull off a great webinar. From the planning time, preparation, actual conduct and post evaluation. Those organizers are really working on it. There might be untoward situations that may happen at times because of external factors, and I can say it's really part of the process. But what is important is that the intention of the webinar is for the better.
I would like to personally thank @Ellehcim for participating in this collaboration program. I know you have been looking forward for this, and here we are now, collaborating for this article.

True since pandemic started everything happens online. Things you never expected can be possible before because every meetings we are asked to be there, extend our shifts. Now though we do everything virtually. When we were working from home it was never easy. VPN and Internet connection would have issues from time to time which makes our tasks to be delayed but people were understanding as we were all trying to adjust. So far, after a year many were lucky to work at home and earn while they are comfortably working at their own comfort. Internet providers are seen to have improved for some areas and hopefully for all in the future.
