Less is More

Please Take Time To READ THIS! πŸ˜‡

Life is an unceasing struggle for more. Your desire for more grows exponentially as you get older. It becomes an integral part of your life which greatly influences your decisions. You tend to believe that more is always better. You simply cannot help it. You yearn for the greater joy that you believe results from having more stuffs, latest gadgets, bigger house, more prestigious job, higher saLary, trendy bags, clothes, and accessories However, your desire for more will never end for it will never be satisfied until you learn the lesson.

Many have succeeded in the quest for more. 'Don't settle for less,' they say. But a lot have regretted and are burdened in their search for greater. Just this year, I faced great challenges which led me to a lot of realizations in life. More is not always better. 'The more the merrier' is not always true.

You can never tell the impact of your words to someone. Words are powerful, itt can make or break a person. If you have nothing good to say, it is better not to talk at all. Never let your mouth work faster than your mind. Words have the power to help, to heal, to motivate, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble. Less talk, less mistakes. Sometimes, you can't help but be involved in a very compromising situation. You don't have to defend yourself too much to others. The more that you talk, the more the argument gets complicated. Remember that difficult people are everywhere. You can't please everyone. If they don't like you and they talk too much against you, let them. Don't let others view of you affect the kind of person that you are. Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can say is nothing at all. Be calm Be silent. No one but you know yourself best.

There are times that I struggle to express my thoughts clearly because of too much ideas in my mind. I realized that clarity comes when you clear your mind and think simply Simplicity expresses much more meaningful than you think When you want to explain yourself clearly, it is best to do so concisely Sometimes the less you say has more impact than trying to say more to get the message understood. Simple is powerful.

Wanting less gives you more. You'll also have more room for generosity. Give more even if you have less. It is in giving that you'll find the real contentment. There's no greater joy to see someone smiles because you've made an impact in his life. A small help is less, but more to the person who sleeps everyday with starvation on the road side.

During occasions, you are likely to spend more money, time and attention on things that aren't actually important. In your efforts for joyful celebrations to make everyone around you happy, you opt to spend a lot for food, drinks and gifts. You have to stop buying stuff to impress people. Less focus on buying stuff means you also have more money or less debt. Learn to consume less. You will automatically buy much less if you desire less. Save money to buy things which are necessary in your life.

Be brave to say no.

Saying no to a request is a hard thing for me to do. It is an impulse to please the people around us. One of the disadvantages of trying to please everyone is over promising and under delivering. You can handle the heavy tasks at first but you'll soon be overwhelmed by too many responsibilities brave enough to say no. It is better to set dear limitations and expectations rather than try to be a superman. Stay focus by saying no to things you can't accommodate, and just concentrate on the fewer things that you can do well.

Focus on less to do more.

When you are doing too much, you are constantly switching from one task to another. Focus on the most important tasks first before you get distracted. One of the keys to productivity is actually just getting a few things done well rather than rushing to work different things at a time and getting none of them done in the end You can simplify life through the process of elimination. Disregard what's not important.

Free yourself from discontent.

There is no joy to be found in regularly comparing the properties of others and to your own. It will always lead to discontent and envy. The cycle of comparison extends in a never-ending clash of who has more and better if you stop comparing yourself with others, you'll free yourself from he unhappiness and discontent that comes with unjust comparisons.

Let go of the things that you don't need and you will be able to focus on less yet important things in your life. With such focus, you'll learn to be contented in what you have in the moment. If you are more comfortable with having less, you will be less tempted to accept jobs which you don't love and you can't handle well just for higher salary. This in return can greatly lessen stress. You'll have much less to worry about.

Be less afraid of failure.

The more you think about a certain situation, the more it seems to get worse. Try not to invest too much time on worrying. Expect less so you are less afraid to fail. Do not put all your eggs in ono basket so you won't worry about losing everything.

Fewer choices make you happier.

Studies reveal that the more choices you have, the more anxiety you'll have. You lend to become miserable about the choices you didn't make. There will be more missed opportunities for you to regret Schwartz argues that we end up less satisfied with the result of the choice than we would be if we had fewer options to choose from. Too much choice will stress you out.

Let go of distracting things.

The simplification of life is one of the steps to inner peace. When you are able to focus and let go of distracting things that add nothing but mental noise to your life, you will achieve higher level of peace of mind.

Less objectives in a day means more mastery.

ln the educational setting, teachers should not bombard students with too much information in a day. A lesson's objectives should be SMART- Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Result-Oriented, and Time- bound. There are times that the idealistic teacher in you think that if you are able to formulate plenty of objectives or competencies in a day, you are a very effective teacher. What's the sense of formulating many objectives when students' mastery of the topics is at stake? Teaching is not a race on who finished all the learning competencies first. The number of students who mastered the competencies matters the most. You cannot just continue to the next lesson and leave struggling students behind. (Teachers must Take note this one.)

In a busy life, there is a need to take a moment to pause, to think, to recharge, to recondition, to reassess and to set new goals. it is healthy to take a break every now and then. Less stuff means less stress, less distraction, more time, more money, more freedom, more energy, and more meaning in your life. Working less allows you to contribute more, grow more, and pursue your passions much more. It provides opportunity for you to pursue your greatest passions. Happiness is a choice and can only be found within k does not result from acquiring more. Be wise to figure this out while you're still young You can be more with less.

Sure thing I can add. 😊 Instead of worrying things we much see the road a straight path. No yellow paint in road as a implication of curve road or blind where accident is prone. Same as life. We need affection to satisfy the need to belong, we want praise so we can feel admired, and we want recognition to satisfy our need for personal worth.
