"Ang tatay ay haligi sa tahanan, sila rin ang gumawa nang paraan sa mga pangangailangan"

I strongly agree with the statement came from my own words as I describe my father during hard times in our family.

As of now, we don't have an electricity caused by the super typhoon. That is why we don't have lights, it was so dark in the night.

My father told me to get a cotton, a glass bottle of mallorca drink, a stick of umbrella and gas.

He teach me the process so that we can make 2 lamparilya or lamp. But I wasn't able to help because my sister told me to hold the flashlight and she will help my father.

As I watch them we are laughing because my sister didn't know how to do it because it was her first time also , that is why my father is trying many times to tell her the process and how it will be perfect to make.

You know what, it is very hard it will be done in 3 hours to make. From the first try it didn't work out, when my sister lit the upper part of cotton it didn't fire, that is why they repeat to make the cotton work. Until third try, yes it really works. I don't have picture when it is finally worked.

The lamp is very useful especially this time that we don't have electricity, but they were doing there best to repair the wires and it takes time.

I am very thankful because I have a father who is very artistic, intelligent, family-oriented and etc. All positive personality, I can describe it to my father.

The news says that, it take 3 months until the electricity will back, that is why until now we are using the lamp made of cotton and gas. We buy gas to the gasoline station but it is kerosine (I am not sure about it because my ate will only buy it).

If talks about charging my cellphone, we will charge it on our neighbor because they have generator (a tool that can produced electricity)

After how many days of typhoon, we are able to smile because based on our situation and the fact that due to the heavy storm, here we are still standing and fighting the battle that we are in.

In house house we need to change the roof, and we will buy it. But the problem is money, I really hope that in the opening of classes I will have a chance to renew my contract so that I still have work. I can help my family needs especially the money to repair our house.

Realizations in life:

Every problem has a solution if people finds a ways there's a way. 😇

It will take 3 months to repair the wires? That's very long, It seems the typhoon really damaged the wires a lot. But it's a good thing your father is resourceful and knows how to make those lamps
