Do Not Risk Your Sleep

We all know how much important a sleep in our life is. But do you focus and pay attention on how much time you sleep and the time routine for your sleeping?

Not everyone care whether they have sleep or not but it's very alarming if you keep doing it all the time. When it comes to sleep, everyone doesn't listen and think about its importance. It doesn't mean that you feel like you are strong for not getting enough sleep means it is good for you. The side effects and future results are waiting on the future. It can affect your well being. If eating and exercising is important, so as the sleep.

Productivity

If you keep on messing on your sleep schedule, you can not build a productive day. You cannot force your body to become productive the way you want it. Human body is not a machine, it needs rest. Sleep has a great link to your brain. If you are telling that you are an adult and sleeping early is too childish or it's only for children then you are very wrong. If you don't sleep on proper time or you don't have enough hours to sleep, it will bring chaos into your body, mental and overall.

Immune System

Like I have said, our body is not a machine where you can just repair and bring it back to the normal. It has cells that helps you protected from all kind of diseases, so what if these cells are not being taken care of? Then you are most likely to get flus and sickness easily. This will lessen your ability to become productive and your time to finish a deadline if ever you have a lot of things to pass. Instead of cramming too much on submissions, take a proper sleep first and do not risk your immune system.

Stress Levels

By not sleeping properly, you are increasing your stress levels. Not only physically but mentally as well. When you don't sleep properly, your body will then give you stress hormones as a result. Sometimes it can even keep you awake because of the cortisol hormones released.

It's understandable that not all the time we can have the proper sleeping time espescially when we are busy in our work, school, family and other factors that can influence your sleep. Almost everyone chose to sacrifice and exchange their sleep just to cope on the deadlines. But not sleeping enough can make your body restless and tired. Sleep is like the battery of our life, we need it or recharge for another day. Sleep affects not only your body but also your mental including your spiritual being.

If you keep tolerating yourself to sleep late then you are making yourself susceptible to getting obesity. You eat too much and sleep late then you are most likely to become obese. You are weakening your heart, making it hard to deliver the blood that it needs to distribute throughout the whole body. You are destroying and changing your hormones. You are affecting your mental thinking and the ability to decide in life. You are making yourself susceptible to sleep paralysis, wherein your mind is awake already but your body is still asleep. You are making your bones weak and it can even affect your skin which will make you age earlier.

My purpose of this article is to remind everyone to the importance of proper sleeping because some people find it cool and strong to sleep late but not me. Sleep is one of biggest blocks in our life that we need to fulfill. This is where we get the strength, the energy and the courage including motivation to go in with our daily life. Imagine having enough sleep and waking up with a smile because your body is well recharge and you can't wait to start another day.

Yeah right. Getting enough amount of sleep is really a need. Otherwise, I feel irritable, demotivated and distracted. 🥴

This is true. Sleeping can affect our mood as well. As on my own experience, when I lack of sleep, I feel that I'm floating, I get annoyed easily and can't function properly unlike when I sleep 6-8hrs.

Well me, I get occasional pimples when I don't sleep properly and that's why I am worried when the school gives me a lot of stuffs to do :(
