My Journey to the Crypto World Four years ago, my sister was scammed by a self-proclaim "btc trader". She invested 5,000php and promised a high returns. Btc price then was only $7k+. But after a few weeks, the "trader" announced bankcruptcy, the money were gone. So since then I was hesitant when it comes to crypto, though I was already putting a small in my coins.ph and convert to BTC,but after the scam, I stopped buying btc.Until last month, my ex-workmate was posting in FB story about crypto,so my interest rose again. To cut the story short, little by little I'm putting small amount and start buying coins. At first my plan is to hold coins for long term(that's why I'm stuck to one coin that went deeper than the sea). But seeing the coins move so quickly(up then down and vice versa), I started day trading, buying coins in the morning at low price then sell at night in high price. Yesterday, I was able to do my first withdrawal, I'm so very happy. I'm not new in trading because I also have stocks in PSE but unfortunately, instead of earning, I loss a big amount of money. *Yesterday, I was able to do my first withdrawal, I'm so very happy* I'm not full time yet in trading because I'm also managing my small business. I still have so much to learn. I joined crypto pages in Facebook, checking posts in noise.cash and read.cash from time to time to be updated. I'm also earning BCH on both platform though it's not that big but who knows after a year I can use it for emergency funds. Thanks for reading.

When cooking is life but eating is lifer One of my passions is cooking, and of course eating too. I was born and raised in Pampanga known as the Culinary Capital of the Philippines. We got this title because we are blessed with great cooks trained by the Spaniards and passed from generations to generations. But to tell you honestly, skills or talent in cooking is not inborn to everyone(this is on my own opinion). You need to work on it, spend time and needs a lot of patience. My mother was my inspiration to learn cooking. When I was young, my mother cooks in "karinderya" for living. And also being invited to cook in fiestas, birthdays and other life celebrations. I also remember, we assist my mother to chop ingredients, even slaughtering chickens and cook simple dishes. On my young age, I'm already exposed in the field of cooking. That you cook, not only to eat delicious food but also to use it for living. Cook for others in exchange of small amount of money or in exchange of foods that you cooked. In my first article about myself, I think it was mentioned that we faced hardships in life, deprived to wear beautiful clothes, to eat what we want and to have things that we need. I laugh when I remember that I can't even buy "egg pie" during my elementary days. So I promised to myself, once I got my job, I will buy all the foods I want to eat, I will cook for myself not for others. So little by little, I studied how to cook. Cooking what is available in our kitchen. Experimenting recipes and most of the time, outcome is not too good. Sometimes it's salty or bland. Sometimes dry or "soupy". I can't attend to a culinary school because I can't afford it. Internet, youtube and google is not yet available that time(90's), or it's available I'm just not aware(lol). So as I got my job, I started eating to not-so-fine dining restaurants almost every week and tasted every food. I also tried to eat in a buffet and other 5 stars restaurants. Memorizing the taste and the aroma of foods, the herbs and spices they've used. Then imitate it once I got home. Up until now, I'm still learning but maybe I can only cook in "karinderya" level(lol). I can't imitate the style of Boy Logro, Sau del Rosario or Chef Gordon Ramsey. But my greatest achievement when it comes to food is, I can now satisfy my cravings, cook and eat what I want. And my trophy? Big belly, fats and my weight. On my next articles, I will share my recipes from seafoods to meats to vegetables. Click the sub button to be updated. Picture of some of my recipes(will share complete steps and ingredients next articles) *Baked Rosemary Chicken*

Sinaing na Tulingan Sinaing na Tulingan(bullet tuna) is one of the famous delicacies in Batangas. The taste of this dish is a combination of saltiness (of salt)and sourness of kamias(bilimbi). In Batangas, aside from kamias, they also use vinegar to add more sour flavor. Me and my family in Pampanga is not eating tulingan because we believe that if this fish is not prepared properly it can be poisonous. Yes, we heard news before of poisoning because of tulingan. Until I met my friend from Mindoro. She always brag that her father is expert in cooking delicious sinaing na tulingan. True enough because I was able to taste it. Since then, I was fascinated in cooking this dish as well. I made my research and watch videos on how to properly clean and prepare tulingan. Of course as a true blooded Capampangan, I made my own version and I will share it to all of you. Ingredients: 1/2 kg of Tulingan 1 cup of salt 1/2 cup of dried kamias 2 cups of rice water(hugas bigas) 1/4kg of chopped liempo(pork belly) (mandatory on my version) Palayok/Clay pot *I use claypot instead of pan or caserole because it gives different taste and aroma* Steps: Cleaning the tulingan (Remove the gills and innards. NOTE: this is very important, you need to twist the tail and pull it and you will see a red or black flesh connected to the tail. According to some chef/cook, this flesh produce toxins that causes poisoning) After cleaning the fish, put a horizontal slash on both sides of the fish and press it to flattened. Rub the fish a generous amount salt. On a pot(palayok), arrange the fish, kamias and liempo (you may put banana leaf on the pot or wrap each fish on it. Pour the hugas bigas(rice water) Slowly cook it for 4-5hrs until the fish is very tender (that you may eat even the bones) Serve with rice

Frustrated artist in me. Frustrated chef, frustrated singer, etc. etc. This what we say when we want to have that skill or talent but not able to achieve it. As for me, I am a frustrated artist or painter. I love to draw even when I was in elementary up until I graduated from a trade school. I love to draw nature, animals, even a human portrait. But it seems that I'm not satisfied because unlike other artist, they can do as if it was photographed, alive and full of colors. I appreciate art, but sadly I have color blindness that could be one of the reasons I can't draw well or put colors on every of my drawings. Below are some of my works. Gokou and Gohan Drewn on my rooms' wall using charcoal and colored chalk. Man of steel/Superman From my wall and same materials as above. Flowers/Plants Drewn using Oslo paper and HB pencil.

At the end of the tunnel, there is light This is my first article and I don't know where or how to start. I am not a writer (and not also fluent in English)but sometimes there are random things going in my head that I want to share or to talk about. Maybe, I will start introducing myself just like what I do when applying for work. Some call me Jun, my Parents call me Jay and others call me with my full name. But I prefer Aj(my nickname when I landed Manila para medyo sosyal hahaha). I was born and raised in Pampanga( and that was long time ago). We are 9 siblings but 3 died few years ago. My father was working as a company driver but he was laid-off due to closure of the company. That was the start of our hardship, I was 6 years old then. At a young age, I've experienced to eat once-twice a day and sleep with empty stomach. We don't celebrate Birthdays, Christmas and even New Year because we don't afford to. My father tried to farm a land but it's not enough to sustain our daily life. I sold eggplants and camote tops to continue my studies but it's really hard. I go to school with 5.00 in my pocket enough for my fare. I don't attend school fairs like JS prom, acquitance party, etc. because I don't have a decent clothes but fortunately I graduated with honors. Sad thing was, I wasn't able to send my self to college. After 1 year, I studied 2 years vocational course by the help of TESDA. I promised to myself that I will find a job as I graduated but that wasn't easy because most of the companies were hiring those with degree. So, I landed in field selling job and stayed there for 2 years. On 2005, I decided to go to Manila. My parents are hesitant because I'm not familiar with the place and we don't have relatives in Manila. I left Pampanga, carrying one back pack and determination. I entered every building in Ortigas everyday just to get a job. And God didn't fail me. I was able to get a job and the rest is history. I stayed in Manila for 14 years and very proud who I became. I'm now here in Bataan, managing my small Milktea Shop. We were hardly hit by the pandemic but still fighting. To all young people who are experiencing hardships, don't give up and never ever blame your parents with your condition. Stand up, go out and work hard. God will never give us something that we can't pass. Trials are unending, but these will make our faith stronger not only with God but also with our selves. **Always remember that at the end of the tunnel, there's light.**
