I recommend watching the below movies during this quarantine time. Since most are working hard during the pandemic, I still think we need to relax for once. I will share to you my go-to movies that I think will surprise you and at the same time you will enjoy them. Well, depends on your taste.

The Hills Have Eyes Franchise

One of the best franchise when it comes to horror flicks. It is the kind of movie that will let you hold on to your seats. The film is actually inspired by true events since there were reports of cannibalism in a certain deserted area. And the fact that in rea life, a man manage to escape the family who kills and eat people that pass by the area. I actually like true events im a films, and this one is the best.

Saw Franchise

One of the gruesome movies I have ever watched. It is amazing as a horror fan but not likely for non-horror fans. But if you want to try something new and like bring chills to your spines, this is one movie that will surely shock you. But my favorite one is the first movie since its so simple yet extraordinary.

The Handmaiden

Since everyone is like the Parasite movie that won Best Picture in the Oscars, I recommend watching this movie directed by the same director of that movie. Not only that this movie has an outstanding production, the story itself is the best. It was inspired by Fingersmith that was once made as a movie before.

Chef

What I like about this film is that the food looks so yummy. And the way the chef prepares each and every dish is fun to watch. If you are one of the people that likes restaurant and stuff, this is a good one.

Secret Obsession

This one is actually not that exciting to watch but its fun so I give it a thumbs up. If you actually watch the trailer, it will already give you the idea of what will be the movie. So all you have to do is to watch where it all will go. But then again, this is fun to watch.

Greta

I was actually a fun of this movie. It is not a horror nor a thriller film but it will give you goosebumps. I like how unpredictable the movie is. And by the way, the actors did a greay job portraying each characters.

Blood: The Last Vampire

The story itself is what stands out in this movie. The effects however, I'm not really a fan of it. But kudos to the production for casting an Asian to make the movie a more realistic one. Even though, most are Caucasians.

Anaconda: Hunt for the Blood Orchid

This is the best one out of all Anaconda movies. I love the plot of the story. There wete no twists I think but I like the way characters are not the same as I think they have to.

Ma

Spencer at her best. I can't consider this as a horror or thriller film but rather a mysterious drama. I was fond of how the story did not tell itself for each sequence but rather you have to find it yourself.

Kill Bill 1 and 2

The best action movie made by my favorite director, Quentin Tarantino. This action packed film is one of my favorites of all time. The way revenge is made in this film by The Bride is how I want revenge in other films to be.

Chloe

What I like about this film is that questions after questions are made after a scene in the movie. I don't want to spoil anything. Though, Chloe did some pretty strange things as part of her "job", you will ask if they are actually true or if she actually did that.

The Shape of Water

The best of Guillermo Del Toro. When I saw this on cinemas, I was amazed, from the production to costume design to how the monster is made. This movie is best to watch when you want to know more about experimentation and how it affects not only the scientists but also the ones involve in the world they are in.
