Being Rich Tells By What

7 38

You might be wondering by the topic I am writing today. Well, I was too curious about this since I experience something that makes me question, "Does being rich tells by what you wear? What you use? Or what you eat?" Can you tell a person is rich by the looks?

The other day, I was empty handed. Honestly, my wallet is empty. Not a single penny was left in it. But it is not a big deal because at work, we use cashless payment only in our Canteen. So what I did after work, I drop by our Canteen to buy a some food for dinner and some snacks for the kids. When pandemic started, we start using cashless payment through salary deduction and it is a big help then when you dont have money anymore. Though after I made some purchased I headed out to our company gate. I met a lot of other enployees going in for the nightshift schedules. But one straightly walk infront me as if I thought I am going to collide with her, I was wrong. She directly ask me if I have a changed for the 500Php bill. I nodded and tell her, "No". I just laughed at my back after what had happened. I tell myself, Does she know that I have no money and not even a single penny in my wallet? Do I look rich by bag or what I wear? This makes me start asking if being rich tells by what?

What if I wear an old stuff or even look like beggar? Will somebody approach me like what I have experienced the other day? I think not because of us judge by how we look. At times, I notice some people dressed in a simple way and humbly talks and rich. While others are too loud and well dressed yet struggling. See? Being rich doesn't tell what you have physically or how you look.

Yes money cannot buy everything in life but everything needs it. So as to look rich, you need money to buy all you need and become rich.hahaha It's just like getting money so easy and this and that.

Closing Thoughts

For me being Rich is not about having many money but living life with contentment. We people are too greedy, it is all in us naturally in a not obvious way. So becoming rich is all in our goal as a human. Though being rich is being happy with what you have and how you live with contentment. Not just how people judge you on how much money you have in your wallet. How expensive you wear from head to toe. Or how you dressed up and what you eat?

Quite a prompt writing of mine as my experience never gets out of my mind. Hope you will like this the least and thank you so much for dropping by.

You're right sis we cannot tell that a person is rich by his looks because I know someone who is in the middle class who just dress simply and people thought he is just a worker in the big house he actually owned.

I know what having nothing feels like. And I know how having money feels. But being rich is when I couldn't ask for more. If you will not be contented with what you have you'll never be happy and rich people aren't all happy. Choose contentment. You'll always be happy and rich with positivity.

True sis. Because if we are contented with what we only have and see the positive side, we can always be happy.

hmmm... Makes me think, our ex-supe lives in a slum but wears LEVI and other expensive brands. And overheard he is packed in debt in the office from several coop he managed to lend. But lives to spend a lot on weekends shopping and dining on restaurants. Not that I bother though but... just sharing.

A lot also same in here. I cannot imagine how they will live honestly in life when it matters only that we live to survive and lives on.
