Have you truly lived?
We are greeted each new day with the news of the passing of people, some of whom we may have known. On the notice of their obituaries we will see the numeral representation of the number of years they tarried on earth. Some would have lived for less than a year while others would have lived for decades or even centuries, although the latter is becoming rarer these days.
Within the years lived one may have built a great career, acquired academic certificates or even amassed vast wealth. However it is not the numerical value or strength of our years neither the material acquisitions that really matter but the positive impressions or impact that we have made on the lives of others when we make our exit from the face of the earth that really counts. This is an inevitable fact of life. Sadly enough some will be remembered only for the evil the perpetrated during their sojourn on earth. Please do strive not to fall into that category. **What will the tale about you be when you're gone?** For one to have truly lived is to be remembered and linger in the memories of those left behind for having impacted positively or leaving a good impression on others. It is never too late to start living a purpose driven life no matter the number of years you may have already spent. You can still make a positive impact with the time you have left if only you decide to do so and exert the required effort in that direction.
