Not being able to contain anger will break your fast
Every human being always has different feelings. All of that can depend on what is the basis of their own heart. So don't let yourself harm yourself just because you obey your emotions.
Well, in this discussion I will discuss a material about holding back anger, will it break the fast? As previously noted, fasting is obligatory to restrain the passions in the form of hunger, thirst, and anger.
Therefore, it could be that the lust of anger that accidentally overflows will result in you canceling your fast. So, it's a shame, my friend, if this happens. Therefore, it is attempted for you to be able to control your emotions. Because one of the provisions that can invalidate fasting is to express anger.
This is an explanation of the importance of holding back anger when fasting
For those of you who are fasting, you should be able to restrain your anger. Why? Because this can result in your fasting worship being wasted. So, of course, you don't want this to happen to you, do you? Therefore, it would be better for you to hold your emotions so that your fasting worship is more useful. In Islamic belief, Ramadan is the best month. Many people do fasting to get closer to the almighty. People who like to be angry, their heart will not be able to get close to the almighty, because their heart is still controlled by emotions
The purpose of fasting is to purify the heart
Do you believe that this fasting time is very special when compared to previous times? Where fasting is a form of purifying the heart from the dirty deeds that we have been doing in the previous days.
But is it true that holding back for about 1 month is enough? Is it true that holding back lust or hunger and thirst for a month can purify our hearts? Well, in this month of Ramadan we train ourselves to be patient so that we become individuals who can control emotions. In this way, our actions will be better.
Fasting has a special purpose
You will certainly believe that one of the main goals of fasting is a clean heart. To grow into piety. Taqwa itself is the right attitude to obey the orders that are called by the Almighty and stay away from all the prohibitions. Those of you who will hope that fasting can train someone to be stronger, patient, and also steadfast.
Also can refrain from a crime and try to purify the heart for the next. It can be said that the purpose of fasting itself is very good. But are all humans able to achieve it? Is fasting able to purify oneself and also the human heart eternally? There are so many good intentions in man himself that is not realized. His intentions are very good but often makes mistakes.
That's why you have to be careful in dealing with all things related to feelings. It could be that you are harming yourself because you are following your feelings/ego too much. So that's all the explanation about holding back anger. Hopefully with that, all of our fasting worship will be accepted by GOD. Amen.

I appreciate your words. You said it rightly the major purpose of fasting is to attain piety and it is impossible to attain piety if your language gets out of control in anger or if you do things that you may later regret! This is what fasting teaches us to remain calm no matter how much people try to get under your skin! For this you will be rewarded by God! And if you are rewarded by the Almighty then what else do you need?
