Hi, my beautiful friend. It's been a week since Muslims have been fasting. Talking about fasting, today I want to write an article about fasting in terms of psychology. Because fasting for Muslims to withstand hunger and thirst creates positive things for human psychology when running. Some of the benefits you should know and not be missed.

Benefits for psychology or human mental health can be obtained when fasting. Dopamine, Endorphin, and Serotonin hormones will come out when fasting, thus helping humans to improve anxiety, and even reduce the stress that occurs. 1. Increase the Value of One's Life

The value of human life is a review in psychology, this is an important aspect. In fasting, people will be encouraged to worship and do charity as much as possible. For a full month, worship and charity activities will become a continuing habit. That way, the value of a person's life will also increase because they are used to doing good activities to do. Worship and charity are religious values, which are part of the value of life.

2. Train someone to control themselves

Self-control is an important part of fasting. For a whole month, Muslims are not allowed to eat, drink, have sex, get angry, gossip, etc. from dawn to dusk. This can help a person in practicing self-control. Based on the hadith of Muslims, it is known that fasting in Ramadan trains us to be patient. Refrain and control it from the stimulation of food, drink, sexual urges, anger, and so on.

3. Keeping the Mood

In the early weeks of Ramadan fasting, the body begins to adapt to hunger. So it can release large amounts of catecholamines which make you feel better. Maybe some people don't know about catecholamines. This is a set of hormones that make a person feel better. In other words, catecholamines are a group of hormones dopamine, adrenaline, and norepinephrine.

4. Reduce Aggressiveness

In a book written by Baron & Byrne in 2004, aggressiveness is a person's tendency to hurt others, either physically or verbally. Aggression can be great or can be reduced. Aggressiveness arises due to two factors, namely internal and external. By fasting, self-control will be trained, so that aggressiveness will also decrease.
