(now) A List Of My Favorite Tech Gadgets
Hello guys. How are you? Hope you're enjoying this festive season? I'm curious about how a lot of you spent your holiday season, majorly because you're from different countries as me. In my country, it's not so much of a big deal especially in my state because I'm from a really poor country. Most people lived their normal lives just trying to get what they would eat that day.
Anyways let's get to what I have for you today. I'll go over some gadgets with you that I personally favor and either have used, or would like to use.
1) Headphones/earpiece/speakers:
I love music and much of my life for music came from just listening to it through these various channels. I'm talking about portable ones (as against commercial speakers for public address or something like that). I can't claim to have used any good speakers or earphones as I'm not very rich, but the idea of portable bluetooth speakers or headsets is very fascinating to me. I hope to one day have enough money to use popular good speakers and headsets like beat by dray or others in the class, but until then, I think the cheaper ones are just fine too as long as they don't make my ears bleed. (:
2 Guitar effect / guitar pedal
This is one I've never used. It is a prerequisite even over here to have a guitar effect before you can follow a musician out, but I don't have which is why I can't get a lot of shows for now. Talking about this makes me sad because I always remember how I am discriminated against. They don't even look at what I can do before telling me they can't pick me. They simply ask do you have an effect? And once I answer "no" I know I'm not going to be taken seriously. :(
If you don't know what an effect is, then you should check out any metal music or hard core rock. The different tones on the guitar are mainly a function of what the effect is set to produce, so it's a nice little tool for a guitarist.
3 Guitar Amp
Guitar amplifiers are just awesome to have!!! Imagine playing your electric guitar without any form of amplification. It's going to be so boring as you won't hear yourself, and the techniques you can master are very limited without the sound of the amp. This has been my fate anytime I practice with the electric guitar. That's one major reason I'm not a very proficient electric guitar player (unlike the acoustic). Guitar amps could replace effects in a concert. But the difference is that you have many amp sounds on one effect. So if I have money, I'd go for the effect at the moment. A manageable effect costs about seventy thousand naira (about a hundred and thirty dollars or so). In my country, that's a really really big deal.
I'm grateful to my sponsors because seeing them gives me hope of acceptance in the larger world. I'm really grateful. You mean the world to me!
Mine is just earpiece, I can't do without it because I really love my playlist
