How do you get to your destination?
Every day, we go to different places. Near or far, we make sure to arrive safe and sound. Commuters like me use different modes of transportation. And I always ride trains when commuting along Metro Manila. But how do you really know that you are safe when you travel?
Protection is better than cure. As the government always reminds us to wear a mask, bring alcohol and sanitize, we must also consider the transportation we use to travel. And most people in the Metro travels by train to avoid traffic. But do you know that aside from people, tickets are now being quarantined?
Quarantined Tickets
Considering the present pandemic situations, the operations of the Railway System in the Philippines specifically LRT Line 2 make sure that all of its passengers will have safe travels along the lines. As I have read in the news, they "Quarantine Tickets" before it is used by passengers. And how do they do it? Here is how they do proactive measures:
Vending machines are used by passengers who wish to buy tickets
The ticket sellers will wear gloves and face shields when assisting first-time passengers or users of the vending machine
The single journey tickets will be disinfected at the end of the day upon collection
The tickets will be isolated and quarantined for 72 hours before circulation
Your Safety Is Of Utmost Concern
Despite safety issues being spread about in the country, consider yourself safe when riding the LRT Line 2 Trains. They quarantined tickets and use safety measures to deliver 100 % customer satisfaction. So what are you waiting for? Ride the trains now for faster and safer travel!
