My excitement turns into frustrations.

Hello their readers , fellow writers and virtual friends. How's everyone today? To all Filipinos here, how's 12.12 Christmas sale at Lazada and Shopee? Have you checked out what was added in your cart?

I myself was actually a little bit excited since I've been eying to buy these shoes at Shopee. Well I love sneakers and I have several of them. Maybe because I was deprived of it when I was still young. I didn't grow up in a well off family and having shoes is just a luxury. My mother even had a hard time in buying slippers.
So when I was already working, I would always buy a pair of shoes but mostly sneakers.

What shoes do I wanna buy?

I had been planning to buy these converse shoes for months. I already checked it at SM Megamall but I was still hesitant since it was pricey. I am not earning much as we are still working on a skeletal schedule.

I also had it checked at Shopee and the price was $55.44. It is expensive for me! I don't want to sell some BCH just for this. I am still holding it since my goal is to reach 1BCH.

I had read in a close group at Facebook that the converse official store was on sale last 11.11. Discount was huge as the price dropped to $22.25 . I was planning to buy these shoes on 12.12. I was even bragging about it to some of my officemates. I did cash in at my Shopee pay since my cash is only enough for my allowance until payday.

It was Saturday evening and I was talking to my husband. I told him I will be staying up late until 12midnight since I wanna avail of the big discounts which are offered every 12:00 AM to 02:00 AM.

He just said okay, though he asked me why I wanna buy shoes again while I still have some pairs. I just laughed at him and told him not to worry as I won't get the budget from our savings. I had my own money to spend.

My excitement turns into FRUSTRATIONS!

And this is it, I am literally guarding my phone as having the count down to 12AM , and 5-4-3-2-1...........! Yes! Finally! I immediately open my Shoppe account and go to the converse official store. I was about to add it to the cart , but my eyes grew bigger and from smiling I am now frowning. I was so disappointed and wanna cry!

Even how long I gonna stare it, the truth speaks that no available size for me! My shoe size was 5 or 5.5 yet the smallest size available was 9.5!

How the hell did that happened? I checked it earlier and I am perfectly sure it was available. I couldn't believe that in just a few minutes it was already sold out. I opened my Lazada account to check but yes, it was available but the discount was only $11.92.

It was so frustrating!

Closing thoughts.

So that's what happened to me during 12.12. I ended up buying nothing as I was already frustrated. I actually hate it when everything doesn't happen according to my plan, especially when I was already prepared.

This is just one of my frustrations. I remember way back in college I also planned for my future. It was just simple. I'm gonna find a job after I graduate, then send my sisters to college. I'm gonna marry at the age of 28 and have a baby on or before I reach 30. When I was accepted on my first job, I planned to be promoted and to be transferred to our Main office. I got my goal, after spending three years in different branches as an Auditor I got an offer from our Main office.
Though it was not easy, I again set my goal to be promoted yearly. As I planned, I was promoted twice within three years of working.

If you're gonna ask, yes, I was able to send my sisters to college and I got married at 28. Exactly as I had planned. What frustrates me ? I wasn't blessed with a baby before I reached the age of 30.

It was frustrating but lately God answered my question why. It is just simple because it is not yet the perfect timing.

I know he always had a reason why he didn't yet grant our prayers but that doesn't mean he hasn't heard it.

To anyone reading this don't be mad nor frustrated if things didn't go well like what you had planned. Remember God always had reasons.
