How often do you listen to music? When is the last time you have listened to it? What are your playlist?

Get to know about how the experts try to understand how we humans, listen to the music. It is such a wonderful thing how we can hear and play music like imagine the world without a music, for sure we know it would be boring. The stereo system puts out the vibration that travels through the air and gets into the canal. These vibration travels and transmitted as an electric signal that passes through the auditory nerve up to the brain stem and that's how we listened the music.

Music is perceived by otolaryngologist as structural, mathematical and architectural. It has relationship with one note and so on with the next. You may not be aware of it but your brain has to do a lot of computing to make sense of it.

Do you know that learning a new instrument will improve your memory skills?

One research was done on 13 adults playing new instruments in which they took piano lessons. Their attention and problem-solving skills and abilities improved together with their mood and quality of life. By just taking and learning new lessons, it will give you improvement.

What are the benefits of listening to music?

1.Recall a Memory from Long Time Ago

Music is also used to patients who are suffering Alzheimer's disease wherein their relatives let them listen to the music and a lot of flashbacks starts to drift back in the memory. Music reminds and recall the things that happened in your life, whether happy or bad.

2.Music Can Boost Your Mood

Depends on the type of music you are listening but the music has the ability to lift your mood, to keep going on. It helps people regulate their emotions, researchers found that it has the power to change moods and help people process their feelings.

3.Music Lower Anxiety

Are you being anxious enough? Try to listen some soothing songs that gives you a very good vibes or something that can make you dance along the road. Studies have shown that people in rehab after a stroke are more relaxed once they’ve listened to music for an hour. It is indicated that the body releases less cortisol, a stress hormone, when people listen to music. This same study referenced previous research stating that music had little measurable effect on cortisol levels.

4.It Decreases Your Fatigue

Listening to a music can keep you very energetic throughout the day depends on the type of music you are listening.

Music therapy sessions also lessened fatigue in people receiving cancer treatments and raised the fatigue threshold for people engaged in demanding neuromuscular training, which leads us to the next big benefit.

One important thing to remember and consider, music genre for depression matters the most. One important note: Studies have found that nostalgic sad tunes can actually increase symptoms of depression, especially if you tend to ruminate or withdraw socially. Not surprising, but it is very important to know if you want to use music to counteract the sad times.

If you want to keep your brain engaged throughout the aging process, listening to the music is a great tool where it provides a total brain workout. Research has found that listening to music can reduce anxiety, blood pressure, it as well improve the sleep quality and mental alertness including the memory.

As we age our brains shrink in volume, particularly in the frontal cortex. As our vasculature ages and our blood pressure rises the possibility of stroke and ischaemia increases and our white matter develops lesions. Memory decline also occurs with ageing and brain activation becomes more bilateral for memory tasks. That's why listening to a certain music helps to keep your brain active and working even though the years of forgetfulness.

I mostly listen to classical or retro techno, depending on my mood and if i have things. I hate that my side of the office remains silent though and it's sad. It's so counter productive
