Procastination is an act or habit of delaying or postponing something you should be doing. Wherein a specific task should give prioritized and attention but is ignore until there's little to no time left. Thus, this results for a low quality products or maybe worse no products at all. Procastination is not a sickness but rather a bad habit we get because of poor time management. That's why here I am your lazy writer lazysnail gonna teach and spit facts about how you will going to improve your time management skills.

Start your day early

There's a saying, "when you conquer the morning, you conquer the day" early morning serve as your head start of the day. When you wake up early you'll have a lot of time to do anything you want. Starting from fixing your bed, eating breakfast and taking a bath. That's the best head start of the day also the exercising your body is important. After doing those chores and activities, you'll feel energized and motivated to do so. When you start your activities early you have more time to do it. As for me, I'm always waking up before 6:00 am to do everything I needed to do including house chores, I'm finishing all those before the clock hit 10:00 in the morning. With that thing, I'm gonna do the things I needed to pass in afternoon.

Set priorities and goals

One important things to fight procastination is to have a set of goals in a given span of time. Every Monday you should make a list of priorities that needed to be done on that's specific day. Time blocking is also one important matter that needed to acquire to achieve improvement of time management. Time blocking is a technique in where I'm going to schedule every activities I needed to do time by time, I'm distributing them all in a list. For example, for today's week is a hell week, I have a bunch of activities and homeworks needed to be done. With time blocking I will not gonna be pressure and confused about what to do first or if what am I going to needed to pass first.

Avoid multi tasking

Avoid multi-tasking and focus on one task at a time. Indeed multi tasking is a great advantage to have. Because with this you can hit two birds in one stone. But this does not apply to everyone. If you're not a good multi-tasker then you shouldn't do it all the time. The weight and pressure of doing 2 or more task in one sitting is not easy. You can't focus on one thing that will lead you to low quality products. Also, this will just gonna make you prolonged the task instead of making it way faster. I lazysnail is kinda good multi tasker that's why I can do it very well but sometimes I'm feeling the pressure of it. That's why, we should focus on one task at a time, with that thing we can make way more better and quality products.

Eliminate distraction

Social media, web browsing, online games, and other unimportant matters are just things that distract us from doing what we should do in the first place. These example I gave will just gonna burn our time. It will make us distract to the time and so we will not be aware that our day and attention was eaten by these things. Most procastination starts when we are distracted by things we will just gonna lay in our bed all day long without finishing any activities and to do in the list. That's why distraction should be eliminated.

Learn to say no

This words works in a group activities, maybe in school or in work environment. There are people who take advantage of people who can't say no when someone ask them to do so. This leads them to have a bunch of activities. Instead of doing what you needed to do, they'll ass task to you and make you fully occupied. That's why sometimes it is okay to say no when you know to yourself you can't do it. Or when you're feeling abuse.

Take a break

The best way to make a work is to take a rest. Having regular breaks will refreshen our mind and body. With this we can have a rest and our mind and bodies will regain energy from time being. Regular break is important to not exhaust our bodies. Because exhausted body leads to unquality products. If you wanted to do great them learn to take a rest. Taking a rest is also part of the job, that's why it is important to put some time for it. Having 5-15 minutes break is enough to refresh ourselves.

Poor time management can have detrimental effects on both individuals and their organisations. Punctuality is the common effect of it. Experiencing stress, unhealthy lifestyle, poor quality of works, missed deadlines, lack of sleep, low school grades and many more things. That's why it is important to learn how to properly manage our time to prevent these given example to happen in our lives
