Brutally shot and killed by a policeman
A sad news happened on one family in the Philippines. It's sad that the Christmas is near but the fate of Gregorio family became worst because two of them was sleeping, an eternal sleep. This December 20, 2020 a police man brutally shot and killed a mother and son in Tarlac province. He shot them in front of his own daughter. This brutally killing was recorded and uploaded on Facebook and became viral and trending. It is also became trend on Twitter #STOPTHEKILLINGSPH #JusticeforSonyaGregorio. The police and the investigation said that this argument was started because Frank Gregorio (the son and the victim) was using a boga, an improvised cannon to make noise and usually used in revelries. Police officer Jonel Nuezca was irritated on the noise and caused an argument between the two, Sonya Gregorio was hugging her son trying to stop the argument but he was not listening while the daughter of the Police was shouting on Sonya Gregorio (the mother) saying to shut up because her father is a police man. Sonya responded to the daughter and said "I don't care eh eh eh eh" (this is a notorious song but I forgot the title) but the police man irritated on Sonya's respond and ended up in shot and killed the mother and son. The Philippine National Police made a quick action and Nuezca was currently in jail. The police also said that the two family had a past arguments because of property issues.
Phew! This case was so stressful. Personally, when I watched the video on Facebook, I felt pain on my heart and became stressed while asking myself, "What's happening on the world?". Imagine, the Christmas is near, the two Gregorio was killed in front of their own family. This is bloody Christmas. Seeing this kind of situation can make you suffer mentally. I can say that this happenings was very wrong, it's not humanity, that's too much.
According to Article 3 Section 1: Bill of rights of the 1987 Constitution, “No person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law, nor shall any person be denied the equal protection of the laws.”
Anyone of us don't have any rights to be deprived of life, even you have an authority, even you're on the right side, we don't have any rights because that is written on the law. What if the person will have a better future? What if the person has a lot of dreams and goals that he want to pursue? They can't do it now because you took their life! You took their freedom! You used your power in a wrong way! If you look on different angles and perspectives, there's only one conclusion, THE POLICE MAN IS WRONG, VERY WRONG. I respect policemen, but I don't know why there's some person can do those things.
Let's say that Gregorio family had also a mistake because of their disrespectful act towards Nuezca but killing them is not the best punishment! They deserve more, they deserve justice. We can use a peaceful way to make them okay with each other but Nuezca chose a complicated way.
On the other hand, Nuezca's daughter also judged and criticized by netizens because they said that she didn't even move, she didn't even stop her father. She chose to watch the monstrous act of her father.
Well, that's what netizens said. Let me share the homily by our priest yesterday on Simbang gabi. "You shouldn't judge and criticize Nuezca's daughter because she's also a victim. A victim of disparagement of her parents. Her parents failed to raise her daughter well". They let her daughter grown up in a wrong way. Imagine the daughter didn't even cry and shocked on what's her father did on Gregorio's family. For me, it is not a normal act of a child. I can say that it is parent's fault. The doctors also sent a warning to netizens to stop criticizing the child because it can cause anxiety and depression and can be a psychological problem.
CLOSING THOUGHTS
As stated in the third law of motion, "In every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction". The karma is always there, every action that we did has also an equivalent result. The police man got his punishment to be in jail, he also apologized to the Gregorio's family for what he did but the latter can't say anything, they can't still forgive him because of his monstrous act.
"Think twice, thrice, or even seven times before doing anything" because at the end, there's a chance that we will have a regrets. Always choose the right thing because once you did one thing, there's no turning back. You need to stand for it, hold your choice.
I understand Gregorio's family, it's hard to forgive, it's hard to forget. It takes time forgiving a person, it's a process but later on, I know that they can forgive him because I can see that they have a good heart. God can forgive, so who are we not to forgive a person, right? I hope that the two families will be okay to each other. My deepest condolences and prayers for Gregorio's Family. Hoping that Nuezca will realize his wrong act and sincerely apologize to the family of the victim.

You're also writing about this but oh well. It's the officials that are concerned with the matter so it's kind of hard for it to not make the headlines anywhere, especially with the video circulating
