Pros and Cons of Online class
It's been more than a year since we have a lockdown and everything changed since then. From our lifestyle, interacting, working and even in our education. The government did their best to solve this problem, in our current situation, technology proves that we need it—even in daily basis.
The way we interact changed, technology helped us in this matter. Even the way we educate the students also changed. The classroom became online and meet your friends and classmates through online, everything changed.
Thus, many students had a hard time to overcome it and some of them chose to stop in going to school because they don't have a resources to stay online in classes.
Pros of studying online
In our modern generation, it seems that most of the things are working under the control of technology and of course it has advantages to us especially the students.
Less expenses. This will confuse some of you but in my own perspective, online class can lessen your expenses—not only you but especially your parents. When we are going to school in a traditional way—which is going to actual school—we will spend a transportation fee
(especially if your school is not a walking distance),
pocket money, snacks and et cetera. But if you will study online, the only thing that you need to pay is for your internet connection, let say that it is Php 1, 500.00 per month. I guess it is cheaper than a traditional way.The student will be more independent. It is undeniable that some of us are copying assignment, activities and quizzes to our classmates in our school every morning before the due date. But in online class, it is “possible” that the student will make an effort to do his own assignment without the help of their classmates. They will learn to study independently.
You are saving your time and effort. In a traditional way, we used to wake up in the morning at 5:00 am, cook everything, eat and take a bath then go to school. But now, things are different. I heard that some students will wake up and go to the Google classroom directly. Nevertheless doing the right things is better than being lazy and sleepyhead person.
We are giving a time to learn something new. Online class or blended learning will give more time to the students compared to the traditional way of teaching, that's what I've experienced. Hence, I had a time to explore new things including cryptocurrency and financial literacy so I grabbed the opportunity learn not only academically but also in reality.
Cons of studying online
To oppose the list above and not to be biased, the cons of this matter will also be included on this blog. As the number of people who use internet including students, it is not always a positive impact...of course it has disadvantages.
They will depend on the technology. This is quite opposing on being independent of the students in online class but this is true. When the blended learning was implemented, I've noticed that most of the students oftenly use internet to find the answer on their activities. Let me share this one experience, I've seen an elementary student searching on the internet her activity. When I looked on her screen (don't worry, she knew that I am looking), I saw the answer given by a random stranger and it is the wrong and worst answer. The topic is Mathematics, and the answer is like, “2x^2+$^...” and a random characters from the keyboard. It has a dollar sign ($) knowing that their lesson is polynomial.
They are not gaining any knowledge. At last, the main goal of studying is to learn something...but because of this new way of “learning”, students are becoming lazy. Why? In our place, the students are paying someone who can answer their whole module and let them answer it. Then who got the knowledge? The students or the person who answered it? The funniest is they are getting an honor despite of what they did.
The risk of their health. Gadgets are producing blue light radiation, thus, it can affect someone's health if they are always exposed on their gadgets. It can cause poor eyesight—the major thing happened to the person who always use technology.
Conclusion
Technology can be helpful, but not always as what we think...it can help but it can risk something like our health and education. As a student who experience online class, I can say that I am not in favor about this way of learning because in my experience, I didn't learned that much compared to traditional way of teaching. It is better if someone are instructing and guiding you, not only by yourself.
However, we don't have any choice because going out to go to school is riskier than this because of our current situation. At last, the knowledge that we will gain is always depend on the person. If you are willing to learn, no matter what medium you use, I guess you will gain something. They said, “If there's a will, there's a way”

Yung nag graduate yung mga students tapos di sure if may natutunan ba talaga.
May mga studyante din na nababaliw na dahil sa mga activities at sunod sunod na gawain na binibigay ng mga guro🤦🏻♀️
