Others see his happiness in the health of his body and its freedom from diseases. In fact, health is a priceless treasure, because all treasures seem ridiculous and of little importance if compared to health.
The health of the body is very important and can be maintained by following a healthy lifestyle, a balanced diet, a little exercise, and avoiding fast food and sugars.
With the diversity of these treasures and their differences, we forget a very important treasure that is more important than even the health of the body, which is mental health! We always neglect our mental health to get other treasures in life.
So what are the three most important things than our mental health that I'm talking about?!
1- Nothing, even the shape of your body
In the current era, the era of fashion and social media, the era of perfection and ideals, we put ourselves under constant pressure by comparing ourselves with everything we see on Instagram and Facebook, we live under the illusion that if we do not have the perfect shape, we are ugly or less beautiful than others, so we are at a crossroads, The first is to put ourselves under the pressure of a strict health regime and strenuous exercise to reach an ideal shape, or the other option is to enter into the cycle of depression, self-depreciation, and looking inferior to our bodies.
All of this harms our mental health, makes us sad and weak in character, let me tell you that you are beautiful in whatever form you have, the people you see on the communication sites are people who do not have any work but caring for their forms because it is a source of income for them in addition to many modifications to pictures and professional photographers to highlight the bodies The perfect shape, so don't be fooled by the perfect life and the perfect shapes you see on Instagram, you are doing better things in your life, you are a mother, father, student, employee. You have responsibilities and a role that is much more important than just getting in a perfect shape and posting it on Instagram to get support and likes, but don't neglect your health either, just take care of yourself and accept it as it is, don't live under pressure to keep up with others, do what makes you happy and love yourself with whatever shape you have.
2- Nothing, even your job
Again, nothing is more important than your mental health, we tire ourselves at work to get money and appreciation, we do our best, yet we remain dissatisfied with anything we offer and strive to be the best and do more, to limit our breathing in the end, we suffer from pain in the eyes and back, and we find that we We waste a lot of time concentrating on our work and neglect the things that make us happy. We neglect our time with our children, friends and family. Don't allow your stress at work to make you live in constant anxiety and competition. Learn to relax and do your duties without exposure to pressure that consumes you and destroys your nerves.
I love your work and sincerely do it, but do not forget that you are a human being and not a machine, it is okay to make mistakes, to be late or feel tired and bored, it is okay, always give yourself a chance to take a break and recharge your energy and you will see that you will return to launch with greater enthusiasm and energy.
3- Nothing, even your studies
Perhaps the most devastating thing that destroys our mental health is our anxiety about our studies and the stress that accompanies exams. You try to be the best in your studies at the expense of anything else. Stop all your activities and hobbies just so you can get as many marks as possible. I discovered that I am one of those people whose studies affect their lives greatly and take away their energy.
But I found myself in the last year of university with a lot of judgment on myself during the exam period, I was reaching the stage of crying and burning during the exam period, destroying my brain cells with my hands. I do not encourage anyone to neglect their studies, but in order to be successful and able to study and accomplish correctly, you must be fine first.
Believe me, after 5 years of fully dedicating my life to studying, I tell you that it is worth, but it is not worth neglecting your health, happiness, and secondary activities at the expense of studying. Take a little break, don't force yourself when you've used up your energy, learn to rest and then carry on.
What I'm trying to say in a nutshell, in order to complete your path, you need to be fine, and in order to be fine, your mental health must be fine. A good mental health is the essence of your life and a path towards true contentment and happiness.
