Howdy folks, how was your day? Today wasn't much productive for me in the blogging world, I wasn't motivated or enthusiastic to do anything today on both readcash and hive, I attributed it to today being Monday (which I hate) but reading other people's articles here made me realize I'm not the only one that felt that way today, maybe it's because of Rusty's absence?
I thought about skipping today without publishing but I couldn't do it because I made a goal at the start of this month that I will publish articles every day and I don't plan on breaking my streak. So in a way, my goal for this month pushed me to start writing no matter what happens. Anyway, it seems rusty is back but not fully back to normal, let's just hope things get better soon. And now, it's time for the main article
Life is short, that's a fact, but it doesn't have to be short and miserable. There are some things we do not control, and what's done cannot be undone. For example, I can't change when or where I was born! I can't control when my parents met each other. What I do control is how much effort I put into making sure my future life is better than my past one.
It's easy to get caught up in the past. We all have bad memories and sometimes, it's not easy to see the good parts of our lives. But what if you could make your future better? It's hard to do that if you're focused on what happened before.
If you're focusing on the past, then you're not focusing on the present and trying to make your future better. You're stuck in a loop that keeps repeating itself and won't let your life ever be anything more than what it has been before which is probably nothing good!
We can't change what has happened in the past, but we can change how we feel about it today. If you've been through some rough times, then maybe it's time for a fresh start. Maybe all that's holding you back from doing something great is your own self-doubt, maybe you're afraid of failing or being judged for what you did in the past. Or maybe you're afraid of letting someone down by not living up to their expectations.
So many people are stuck in the past and holding on to things that no longer matter, or they're trying to change something that happened years ago and hasn't worked out yet. It's easy to get caught up in regret, you might be thinking about that time you were so drunk that you blacked out and your friends drove around for hours looking for you.
Or maybe it was the time you got into a fight, and now you have a black eye. Or maybe it was the time you yelled at your mom and now both of you no longer talk to each other. But even if we could go back in time and make everything perfect, there's no guarantee that we will do better next time around.
We can't change the past, it's gone forever! So instead of focusing on what happened, let's focus on what we can do right now to make things right and prevent the same mistake from happening again in the future.
Start living in the present moment, and tell yourself that things are going to get better for you in some way, even if they aren't right now. The truth is, if you can focus more on the here and now than on what might have been but isn't anymore, then you'll find that your future can be brighter than ever before.
Conclusion
Life is about living in the present and enjoying every single moment of it. It's about appreciating this moment and enjoying it to the fullest. Remember that your past can't be changed, you must accept the fact that you have made a mistake or what not but there is nothing you can do about it except moving forward.

That is right there is nowhere we can go back to the past the past is gone is gone and gone forever. The only focus we have now is our present life.
