Since making his appearance 45 years ago in Batman 232, the character has been significantly enhanced making him a big-time dastardly villain and someone worthy of headline in a Batman movie. https://dc.fandom.com/wiki/Lazarus_Pit Apart from leading the League of Assassins, he is also the Dark Knight's father-in-law. Being the grandfather to Damian wane grants him the exclusive rights to Bruce Wayne’s and the Dark Knight's affairs. https://villains.fandom.com/wiki/League_of_Assassins **9. The Hulk**
Source https://news.toyark.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2014/04/Incredible-Hulk-Statue-1.jpg When the Hulk is at his maddest, he is at his strongest, so strong in fact that he can best almost anyone even his alter-ego Bruce Banner. In the epic 2002 Hulk: The end one-shot, Hulk and Banner were the only survivors of a nuclear holocaust that has ravaged earth. With no one except cockroaches left to battle or banter with. They’re left to share the ravaged planet in one body. The result is both devastating and touching, and the Hulk does prove that he's the strongest of them all by literally out living everyone. https://archive.org/details/hulk-the-end-images/page/n7/mode/2up **8. Immortal**

Wolverine**

As his comics mythos goes, every time Wolverine dies, he ends up in a hellish setting where he must battle a demon samurai to return to life. Expect more of the scenario in future comics and movies! **6. Vandal Savage**

He started out as a caveman in 50,000 BC and gained his immortality and great intellect after being bathed by the radiation from a mysterious meteorite. Since then, he has been an advisor to some of the most influential people in history including Napoleon Bonaparte and Adolf Hitler and was even rumoured to be Jack the Ripper himself. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Napoleon https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adolf_Hitler https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_the_Ripper **5. To cope with the pain, she must pop painkillers hence the nickname. Despite a few notable crossovers with The Punisher, Hellboy, and then to television stints, the underutilized creation is still underdeveloped and needs time to gather more depth and develop her character / origin. Lobo**

Surprisingly, that doesn't help him resurrect his flagging popularity. Most recently he's been given a new persona, but Lobo is still not that remembered by many people. I guess he needs to step up his comic book exploits to increase his popularity. Fortunately for him, being immortal grants him all the time to achieve this but I doubt it will be during my lifetime. ha-ha **3. Death**
Source https://www.cbr.com/marvel-comics-lady-death-facts-thanos/amp/ When you are death itself or herself it stands to reason that you probably can't die. Both DC and Marvel comic both have their own versions of death. The former's most famous death is Death of the endless in the Sandman comics, while the Marvel version is also female but as a more conventional skeleton in a ominous hood kind of character called Mistress Death. Her name and physical appearance still doesn't stop a certain super villain from falling in love with her (Thanos). https://www.cbr.com/strangest-death-character-versions-marvel-dc-comics/#:~:text=Death%20Of%20The%20Endless%2DDC https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_(Marvel_Comics)#:~:text=Death%20%28also%20distinguished%20as%20Mistress%20Death%20and%20Lady,was%20created%20by%20Mike%20Friedrich%20and%20Jim%20Starlin. **2. Thanos**
Source https://i1.wp.com/geekshizzle.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Amazing-Thanos-Walllpapers-4.jpg Ironically Thanos’s immortality stems from his love for and devotion to death who has shunned him for her real so. Despite all the chaos he brings to the universe, the mad Titan simply can't be killed, and I best can only be imprisoned in the soul gems / Cosmic Cube / pocket dimensions. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_(Marvel_Comics)#:~:text=Death%20%28also%20distinguished%20as%20Mistress%20Death%20and%20Lady,was%20created%20by%20Mike%20Friedrich%20and%20Jim%20Starlin. **1. Stan “the man” Lee (Stan Lee)**
Source https://i0.wp.com/pagesix.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2018/11/stan-lee.jpg?quality=90&strip=all&ssl=1 Heads up true believers, after all he has done and is still doing for comics the man will live on internally in the hearts of comic fans via paper-based appearances or CGI. His death may have caused a few missed heart beats, but he has living proof that being a comic book fan does keep one internally young. Stan Lee will forever be alive in our heart. He may not be a comic villain, but he deserves to be on this list. Stan Lee- Biography https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0498278/bio *This list is based on my opinion and knowledge of the comic verse. There are so many immortal comic book characters who are not mentioned in this list- for instance Deadpool, The thing, Apocalypse, Mephisto, Death stroke, Anti Monitor, Doomsday, and so on. The above mentioned are simply my favourite and is considered subjective. It should also be known that this list is not a Top Ten (10).* ***Images used have been cited***

Stan Lee lives on forever, nice selection, was expecting to see some Japanese characters too
I guess I'd have to do the Anime version of this list pretty soon!
Smiles.. Sure
I like Thanos most from all of this iconic carracters.
No doubt they all were amazing characters, but mine favorite is Painkiller Jane.
She's a wonderful character as well, but underdeveloped.
i like that you include stan lee <3 and yes he will live forever in our hearts
Not including him will make the list incomplete!
I just want to ask, is WonderWoman part of the comic books or not?
She is a comic character as well, and immortal since she can't die of natural cause! I can't possibly lust everyone which is why I didn't add her to this list. I hope you understand.
My familiar is " The Hulk" only kristoff. Thank you for sharing this. I learned something new today with this about the comic characters.
The hulk is so popular... lol.. Thanks for reading!
You're always welcome kristoff.❤️
I miss Stan Lee, he makes every movie fun because of his presence :) And Thanos died right?
Yes, Thanos only died in the movie... this list is based on comic books and not movies, hence thanos is considered immortal.
Thank you very much for the trivia my dear bro :)
You're welcome!
Of the above, I only know 3, where have I been to? lol!
You've been spending time on the right things which includes building your finance while I haven't even started, but spend my time on comic books instead. Lol.. It's actually okay to not know all of them.
I literally smiled when you added Stan Lee to your list.
If I don't add him to this list then the list isn't complete.. lol..
Here are some of the ones I read. Not all books are read. I will try to read the rest of the books when I have time.
I laughed to myself when I was reading this and saw Stan Lee on the list as top 1 but it is as true as it gets.......he cannot die,he lives in our hearts ❤️❤️
Stan Lee needs to be on this list. He made marvel fun for us!
True❤️
"Superman prime one million" cannot be killed as well, I am talking about the superman who is said to be the living extension of the sun, he lived in the super sun for over 15k years 😀. You can also add "the one above all" and the living tribunal to the list of characters that cannot die. The one above all is the supreme ruler of Marvel multiverse and the living tribunal is directly under him. Another character that can be considered is sentry, his abilities are said to be omnipotent
Thanks for the suggestion. Maybe I'd add these to the list when next I wanna write something of similar title. I know about superman prime 1 million, he's too overpowered hence is not considered canon.
When you added Stan Lee, I can't help but to feel nostalgic. My childhood is fun and one of the reasons are his creations, it's true that legends never die.
He will forever be alive in our hearts.
I am not familiar with most of this but I would go to Death, she's beautiful haha. The number one makes me smile:)
Don't we all love StanLee?
She's beautiful but deadly.. lol.
Stan Lee is the best, that's all I can say as he is a real legend 🤣
I just had to add him to this list.
I'm still surprised about the fact that Hulk can't die, same with wolverine. Stan Lee, legend live on.
Those peeps are legends. They'd live forever until the writers decide otherwise.
I miss Stan Lee. He always has cameo on every movie. He is truly a legend. My favorite is Wolverine. May Stan Lee rest in paradise.
Unfortunately, we wouldn't get to see his cameos anymore.
I love the list, but I won't agree with everything. Immortal has been killed several times in the comic and twice by Omni man in season1. Thanos was killed twice in Avengers Endgame, even in the comics Dr. Doom killed him in an instant. Ra's Al ghul was also killed in the comics by Gorilla Good.
Immortal was killed but came back to life as soon as he was killed by bringing back his body together. Well, until Omni man ripped him apart completely.. I think I agree with you, his immortality is dependent on the availability of his body parts. This list is based on comics and not on Cinematic universe hence the movie doesn't count for Thanos! Well, it all depends on what version of the comics you're reading..
