5. W Motors Lykan Hyper Sport ($3.4 million)
Manufactured by the collaboration of Lebanese and Italian engineers under the brand label of W-motors, a car company based in the United Arab Emirates. This is the first sports card to be indigenously manufactured in the middle East and it only makes sense that most of the richest luxury car owners reside in states like Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The car has thus been nicknamed as the first Arab supercar.
The name Lykan has been inspired by the name of a mythical species of wolves supposed to have transformational powers. This car was the most expensive car featured in the fast and furious movie franchise. The car was first unveiled in the 2013 Qatar motor show and only seven units have been produced of this car until now which speaks of its exoticism and the price tag of a staggering 3.4 million dollars that comes with it.
Talking about its features- from the outside, its powerful led headlights encrusted with diamond, a highly angular design on a carbon fibre body and distinctively styled rear spoiler stand out immediately. A rear-mounted 780 horsepower engine powers the car and can produce an acceleration up to an incredible 245 miles per hour. This power is channelled to the rear wheels through a sequential six-speed manual gear system or a dual clutch seven-speed PDK transmission.
It has been claimed to achieve an acceleration rate of 2.8 seconds for zero to 100 kilometres an hour which is impressive. The dashboard is finished with carbon fibre linings and comes with every amenity you can think of plus a holographic control system.
4. Pagani Huayra BC Roadster ($3.5 million)
Named after the Quechua god of wind Huayra Tata, this car is manufactured by an Italian sports car company Pagani and costs a whopping 3.5 million dollars. It is a mid-engine sports car succeeding the company's previous topper the Zonda. After being officially unveiled for the first time in 2011, the company has capped its production to only 100 units.
Fitted with a 6.0 litre twin turbocharged v12 engine manufactured by a subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz called Mercedes-AMG which gives a power output of 720 horsepower which is channelled to the wheels through a classic 7-speed sequential automatic gearbox and a single disc clutch. The Huayra has a maximum speed of 238 miles per hour and provides an acceleration rate of 2.8 seconds for zero to 100 kilometres per hour at best.
Its 21-inch alloy rimmed wheels manufactured by Pirelli tires are capable of withstanding 1.66Gs of lateral acceleration. The inner assembly is covered with a carbon titanium body featuring aerodynamic grooves and curves plus its distinguishing active aerodynamic mechanism allows its height from the ground to be manually adjusted at the front. A large winged spoiler at the rear finishes the look.
3. Bugatti Chiron PUR Sport ($3.6 million)
Launched in March 2020, Chiron PUR sport is manufactured by a leading French automobile company Bugatti and has been pronounced as the purest Bugatti ever. It is a limited-edition car with its production limited to 60 units only. it is fundamentally an improvement on previous Chiron models and features an easy straightforward handling through improved aerodynamics.
Looking inside- it has been fitted with the Bugatti w16 engine capable of delivering a power equivalent of 1500 horsepower to a 7-speed automatic transmission system which enables a maximum speed of 220 miles per hour and an acceleration rate of 2.3 seconds for a 0 to 100 kilometres per hour. It's revised much stronger chassis set up with stiffer springs and dampers carbon blade magnesium wheels and Michelin sport cup 2R tires are capable of withstanding 1.6Gs of lateral acceleration as well.
2. Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 ($3.6 million)
Sian, the Balinese word for lightning captures the true spirit of this masterpiece created by an Italian sports car manufacturer Lamborghini. This mid-engine sports car was first unveiled in 2019 on the Frankfurt motor show. It is the first super sports car launched by the brand Lamborghini featuring a hybrid technology powered by a v12 engine coupled with the electric boost provided by the 48-volt lithium-ion super capacitors producing an aggregate power output of up to 819 horsepower. Its maximum speed capacity exceeds the 220 miles per hour caps at best and provides an acceleration rate of 2.8 seconds for zero to 100 kilometres per hour.
The exterior of the car features a carbon fibre body made for aerodynamic excellence its electrochromic roof and headlights inspired by Terzo Meleno give you a taste of high-end innovation and elegance. The two-seater interior has been designed with a touch of traditional Italian craftsmanship and is open to customization.
1. Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ (3.9 million)
The most expensive hyper sports car in the world manufactured by Bugatti comes with a price tag of a whopping 3.9 million dollars. It is powered by an 8-liter quad turbo charged w16 engine with a power output of 1600 horsepower which enables the car to reach a maximum speed of up to 305 miles per hour and provides an acceleration rate of 2.4 seconds for zero to 100 kilometres per hour.
This incredibly high power is channelled through a transmission system of seven (7) speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. It is a limited edition, and the production was capped at 30 units. A carbon fibre body designed to ensure aerodynamic optimization is complemented with special front and rear bumpers meant to enhance the smooth laminar flow as well as special air outlets built into front wheels to release excess pressure and increase stability at high speeds.
