The Aftermath of Typhoon Odette
While writing the word 'Aftermath' seems like my heart is crumpled and feels like my tears started to fall. It's kinda emotional I am while writing this article for the updates and my sentiments about this tragic happenings in our places.
Let me share with you how typhoon Odette left us and need to start over.
Typhoon Odette stays in our place for almost six hours. Imagine, with this six hours and has a signal no. 4 surely there were many damages in every village of leyte as well as in southern part of leyte.
December 17 at 5:00 am we woke up with hope and worrying at the same time. We were hoping that the typhoon already landfall and the sun will shown up again, were worried it's because we all know that every houses has no already roof and been damage.
As I look around the sorroundings, I couldn't imagine that most of the trees fall. There's many leaves filled in the corner of the road. You cannot already identify how the trees before and and this after. All the Banana trees has no left, even the bamboo tree I never expect that it falls down also.
When I'm about to enter in our house it was really a sadded part knowing that some of our roof pulled out by typhoon odette. In some corner already wet and some of our things cannot be used again. I couldn't imagine our humble home becomes a worst home.
Of course, seeing the other houses will surely make you sad because most of it was a totally damage.
Typhoon Odette ruined many houses, many trees falls down its because of the strong wind from odette. Knowing also that there's a man hitted by the roof on his head. It was a heart breaking that this typhoon odette left a disaster for everyone.
Coconut trees was already ruined and cannot be used for about many months. It added to the people heartaches because coconut trees is one of the main livelihood of the people here.
Most of the pole of electricity and pole of tecommunication network also damage by this typhoon. As you notice, some users here coming from visayas most especially in southern leyte haven't online or any updates due to this disaster left by odette.
The aftermath of typhoon Odette has everything change in our life but then its because of the positivity side of every Filipino was able to move on easily even its too hard and able to get up and fix everything. Filipino was very brave and optimistic.
I know that there were many areas was totally damage especially in Southern leyte. It was hard for hearing the news that right after the day of landfall the typhoon odette, southern experience a tornado that will surely makes their places as worst as it is.
Even right now they need help as what we needed help too but Southern is the most affected areas and that is neighbor of our municipality.
Oh God, this is really crazy! ๐ฌ The typhoon really destroyed a lot of things and it's very sad because Christmas will be coming soon. It's a good thing that Filipinos are able to move on from any disaster that comes to them
