My experience during the recent calamity

Each one of us has different story to tell. Since this platform makes me feel free sharing all about my dramas in life of course, I wouldn't missed to share all of you about my experiences with the recent happenings in our place.

As you notice that I already shared about the Aftermath of the typhoon and now please be with me on how we survive.

December 16, 2021 Typhoon Odette started to shown up in our place. Before that day the sun shown up like has no typhoon will come. Of course after yolanda left a lesson to everyone here in Leyte especially where the storm surge occured on this specific place known as Tacloban. People learned to get ready as when typhoon will come.

At 2:00pm, the rain started to poured out. The wind started to blow stronger than we expect. The trees started dancing lively. It was like a normal bad weather as we feel it that time but later on when time is running it is not normal anymore.

Actually, we were just in our house since there's no sea nearby in our place. At exactly, 3:00 pm we decided to evacuate with my mom and sister to my cousin house because were already afraid. My father that time wasn't there because he's so busy as well working his job to protect the people in our village. They were the one to secure and protect those who needs help. We hurriedly went to my cousins house even the wind is blowing so much stronger. The house of my cousin is our neighbor so, its okay to run faster to get there. We believe that their house has strong foundation since it is new build.

As we arrived safely there, we really felt the strong and anger of typhoon Odette. What we afraid and worried about is our house because the roof its not strong anymore to hold on and we're near one coconut tree from our neighbor. So, we better move than to feel sorry after.It was really an afraid feelings by witnessing this kind of typhoon. I know I cannot relate the feelings or the experiences of Typhoon Yolanda but as they said it seems like the past typhoon hitted in the region through the strong winds.

I witnessed how the strong wind feels in our place while the leaves accompanying on it.

The big trees started to crack and fallen apart. Well, unfortunately the house where we evacuated has been fallen by the Lansones tree and Rambutan tree. Yes! You heard it, two trees fallen on the roof of where we evacuated. This time were panicked and shouted because the house stricken. Thankfully, that none of us been harmed the fallen trees and were so much thankful that the house built strongly.

Look at those fruits surely it wouldn't be ripe and its all wasted.

This is the time that we feel heartaches and pitiness of every home. One of our neighbor already damage their house by the fallen tress.

After all the happening in a couple of hours there's many damages left by the typhoon. Our backyard has many fallen trees that been our little farm. The banana trees that has already fruits was also fallen. It was so sad seeing all those plants and trees that we planted was all died.

Typhoon Odetter visited us here with a signal no. 4 while the Southern Leyte was in the signal no. 5. This typhoon left us a very changing life and need to start over in living life.

My experience during this calamity was shaken me. It is my first time experiencing this kind of typhoon and knowingly it seems like the past super typhoon.

But then, God blessed us with another life. He protect us from any danger. It is still blessed that we were still breathing today and living.
