May 27th Gist Hey People! A very special greetings to you all. I know you are fine😘. How was the Children's day celebration over there? It went well, right? You took your children out for a good treat or you took you fiance out in the name of a baby? Which ever way, hope you had fun. It was an enjoyed event here but full of talks. We got to work as early as 7:30am, boss was around already organizing equipments for the children show, yes, the management planned to show love to children in the town, they hired a DJ, printed Exercise books and bought a big bouncing Castle to entertain the children... but in all these, they were terms and conditions laid down. Just read on. Okay, being the only guy, I knew the major work would be on me because I'd be carrying, packing and offloading of of things. We took the bouncing Castle to set outside, a kinda test run before the main event and it worked perfectly well. **The director came in** The director (CEO) of the company came in to oversea the arrangements and he got pleased by the efforts but he didn't stopped there. Anytime he comes around and he didn't give us one or two work to do or scatter what we've planned already, that's means something is wrong, so he didn't failed to do that. He called me and my manager to upstairs(the second floor) to check on something some materials there, and when we got there he started bombarding me with questions that's supposed to be thrown at the manager, so I stylishly dodged the questions and moved out of the scene like a Spirit. I can't come and put myself in trouble with answer... that will choke the manager and later he'll come and face me when the director has gone. **The printed books arrived.** We've heard that they printed books to be used as gift to the children that would be coming but must the based on terms and conditions (you'll know soon). We were expecting like Maximum of 100copies due to the expected number of Children that comes to patronize us but, the director shocked us when we saw 1,000 copies! Wft! What was he thinking? **You know what?** For some times we've been lacking materials and equipment for a smooth run of our daily operation, we've pleaded with him via the manager to put things in order but he has refused. And he has the money ooo!. Most times he doesn't know to spend his excess money, He only act on things that came up to his mind and never listen to people managing his business, but goes around to pick advice from those that'll give him tips that will later benefit them. Tips like; *There was a time he organized a musical cobcert, instead of him to bring in well known Artists, he went to bring "Babylonian Artists" (very old and not known Artists). And these artists are his people that will bill him exorbitantly. Yes, they adviced him to take them because it'll benefit them hugely.* ________________________ **Cut! cut! cut! Cut!** **I slept off while writing this and woke up by 5:00am. So I'm continuing...** ________________________ Yes, he has bastard money but he like spending on things that are not called for. I heard manager told him to print at most 200copies but no! He listens to the people around him so they'll gain more. The man the printed the book is his personal person, so he influenced him to go for 1000 copies so he could tap from anointing. Lol. **Term and condition for sharing the books** Okay, since the books are much we thought we would be giving out three copies to a child but No! No! No!...He insisted it must be one per child! With these books that lined up like we now own a bookshop?? Hmmm. He went further that is not every children that we should give, we should only give to children that their parents patronize us. Haaaa! He went further Also to say that it mustn't not just be "patronage", the parents must buy something worth $1 and above. So that's to say anyone that come to buy a bottle of Coca-Cola, the person is not entitled to the gift. It was really funny to hear him say all that. We thought as the books were much, he was going to dash to every child. I don't know what he was trying to calculate, I know he was trying to business calculative but his idea went totally wrong. How do I mean? **See;** This man has money and he printed books out of love. I don't know what came over him to give such instructions. I think someone has advised him to do the others...the otherwise is what I'm yet to figure out. **Do you know many copies we were able to give out?** Out of 1,000 copies we only gave out 56 copies...based on the instructions he gave out. When he came around in the evening, he saw the heaps of book on the table, looking like he's selling books, he said we are gonna use it for next year children's day. No matter what they will share next year, they won't still finish 3% of the books. **It was fun for the children though** All of them came out, dancing and jubilating while the DJ was giving them vibes. Some parents were dancing along too and making me want to be a parent too.
