I'm thinking,,, In those developed states like USA, do they have herbalists? I mean native doctors that use herbs and a mix of vodoo to cure sickenesses? Or this is only seen in less developed countries like my country?

In my part of the world, we have herbalists competiting with real doctors, infact these people will tell you that it's lack of wisdom to take a sick person to the hospital and spend big money on the sickness instead of bringing them to their locally made home of solution and spend less.

Most of the herbalists use spiritual supports to cure sicknesses and will always speak competitively better on their work when compared to the real doctors. Do you know what they say?

"Real doctors can't detect spiritual problems with their tools and equipment while we do it with ease and a problem known is a problem solved".

Also, they've modernized their ways to the extent that they now have government approved medicines in the market. I'm a big fan of radio and there's this radio station I listens to, they advertise their products in every 2hours.
In my part of the world, cases like cancer, appendicitis are more handled by them because they consider them expert on that field.

I once wrote an article here on my experience with an herbal medicine that I considered the most bitter substance on earth.

Let me tell you a story:
It was early last year when my brother had a stomach pain, it was so severe that I had to rush him to the hospital because I can't allow my immediate younger brother to die under my care, we got to the hospital and he was admitted to the bed. Drips and injections were given to him to reduce the stomach pain and it worked perfectly. The pain got lessened within an hour of intake of the injections.

Afterwards, we moved to the lab for test & scan to know what the issue is and it was stated that it's appendicitis. It wasn't funny at all because we know how deadly it could be and we've heard of a lot of people that have lost their lives during operation on such.

The doctor recommended an immediate operation but we declined because the cost is gonna be high and I didn't want to call my parents on it. We left the hospital the following morning and decided to go for the local method.

I got home and asked indigenes of the community on where I could get a good herbalist that treats appendicitis and one was recommended instantly. It wasn't hard for them to recommend because these people are popular in town.

I took my brother, and moved to the description of the herbalist's location.

Honestly, I was expecting to meet those awkward environment we usually see in Nollywood movies as home of the herbalist but when we got there, the herbalist has a well beautified and spacious environment with three cars parked, "He must be a rich one" I assumed.

The place wasn't looking like it at all, it was more like a modernized herbalist.
We got there and he took us to his office, the office contains a lot of jars of mixed medicines, some were labeled while most of them where not.

We didn't waste time, he stretch his hands to the shelve and gave us a bottle(mixed concoction therein), he listed the prescription on paper, we paid him and Left.
From last year till now, my brother has not seen any symptom of such. So that's to say the medicine from the herbalist worked.
