I bring greetings to you all! Keep enjoying the weekend👍.
Thank you sponsors ✌️🥰
We all know "gods" of the land whether we believe in their existence or not, I don't mean the Almighty God or Allah as Christians and Muslims will have it, I mean the little gods that people in the land pay certain homage to. You're getting it??
I mean those gods in sun, moon, trees, rivers etc, that some cultural and traditional feasts are attributed to. In my community, we have lots of them and people are still believing in them even till today.
I know you don't believe in their existence but let's look at one their controversial characters.
Just as we know that the almighty God is ominlingual, He lives and knows everywhere, He understands all Languages that's why your language doesn't matter when it comes to prayer...as long as He's seeing the genuineness in your heart, you are good to go.
We understand also that these little gods have tried to adopt this method of spiritualism where they prove to know everything but I just found out that their limitations are as big as the wall of Jericho.
I'll be talking on languages
From documentaries I've read, movies and little experiences I've seen(living in a rural area), I noticed that these gods don't understand different languages, they only deal with the language they're programmed with... that's to tell you that they're programmed like a computer😁. The only Language they understand is the Language of that native land.
Funny enough, the gods and their worshippers know these things but they are good, pushing it hard to make their gods to be ominlingual. Infact, the quickest way to put a god in a helterskelter mode is the communicate with it in a different language(not of the land's language).
Have you wondered why they have priests? They're there to interpret things to them.

Once again,
like I said earlier, we are assuming that these gods are real.
It's just an assumption

Do they understand English?
If gods are based on the language of the land, then they don't understand English as well. Who taught them English?? You believe they understand English, right? Does it mean that an English class was organized for them by their priests?
You're getting it?😏
I'm saying in the essence that, if you've found yourself secretly praying to a god in English language and you believed that you were heard, my dear the conviction was within you NOBODY HEARD YOU.
Some weeks ago, a news trended about an actress in my country that was praying to a river goddess before shooting a movie in the river. In her prayer line, she used pidgin English;
Goddess of the river, please no vex oo!
Na movie I come shoot, I no come find trouble.
[Goddess of the river, please don't be angry, I'm only here to shoot a movie]
This video sparked up a lot of reactions by people. Someone jokingly commented that she should have used a good english line or the native language of the land for her prayers in order not to confuse the goddess of the river🙄.
She just dropped the prayer and left with the conviction that she was heard. She continued with her movie shooting. You see how people believe in these gods?
Let's say the goddess of the river didn't get her prayer lines. Was the actress aware of that? The answer is NO, but she believed that she was heard and so, she continued with her movie shooting. She put in so much faith in her line of prayer...
This is how the almighty God wants us to have confidence when we pray to Him. When we pray, we shouldn't bother on anything again because even though we are going to talk on Language basis, Our God hears all languages. Be rest assured that what you prayed for has been settled. Keep faith alive and go about your doings.

No proper research was made on this article, it's just what I think about these gods and Languages.
