Date: December 19, 2021Very unusual Sunday routines far from being the flash in instant just to attend first service at 5:30 in the morning. Today service will start at 7:30 am supposedly but you know Filipino time it starts around 8:30 am. My heart is full of excitement and happiness because today is the day that we will appreciate our man and woman of God for all their sacrifices they made, love they give and patience to endure from our different attitude and behavior.
The theme is " A servant's sacrifice gives us success" which I firmly believe. Looking back years before, I was a lost soul who believed and loved to belittle myself having no confidence at all and especially a young girl who didn't have a dream. Through their lives being used by God to reach me, taught me and realizing my own value and worth together with the plan of God in my life that enlightens me to conquer those doubts within. They serve as my second parents even though we are not blood related but the love and care they show nothing compares and I thank God for that. They deserve this appreciation day co'z the impact they made not just in my life but many lives is beyond immeasurable. Imagine, from being hopeless, problematic, depressed, dreamless, unlove and broken turns into amazing individuals and I am one for them.
Moreover, the church councils decided from two divided services to make it one for the united celebration. The service/program starts with an opening prayer to acknowledge and honor God with the event. It was followed by singing of the national anthem led by yours truly. I knew how to beat because way back in my 8th grade 8 year my music teacher taught me to lead the flag ceremony when our section was assigned to do so. Going back to the topic, the word of God makes me realize so many things. Respect and obey is easier said than done. As I ponder the sermon, I cope with this conclusion: "Respecting and obeying them is also one way that God will bless us because they are instruments used by God." It's just my own opinion and if you're not agree with it, then just respect it as I respect yours.
After the sermon and offering portion, the MC (master ceremony) proceeds into giving appreciation and message. He just set a minimum of 10 people because the time is limited and we are 200 members aabutin ng siyam-siyam if lahat kami. I want to stand up and give a speech but I decided not to give others a chance to express their gratitude because you know every year I never miss giving oneš. Funny thing early is that, when the MC announce that young department will speak all of them turn heads in me signing that I will be the one to speak hahaha but I firmly stood with me decision to "give it to others". After those 10 people, they respond with it also. Then, all the members initiated to pray over them for the protection as they travel, good health, more love and patience and declaring blessings upon blessing. Above all, we pray for them to be stronger and tougher as they walk in rough roads and wilderness in life in ministry and their marriage.
We ended around 11:30 am, exactly the time to take lunch and all of us ate in the church as was announced last Sunday that " every family will bring their food". Some are busy taking pictures and me, @Athaliah and @BCH_Genesis hindi nagpahuli as we called ourselves "BCH babies", lol. Filtering didn't give me justice hahaha.
Before ending I would like to share that this is my third time writing this one because the first and second were nowhere to be found which ruined my mood.

Let us appreciate our leaders no matter what religion you were in. Let us respect, obey and appreciate them.
