A Chilly Night at the Beach

Hello, hello, how's it going? I was not able to publish this yesterday because of an unexpected challenge we encountered in our family. Actually, this was already drafted yesterday and ready to be published, but I just literally forgot about it because I was too preoccupied with the sudden happenings around me. So I will publish this today instead, and I might publish another one later this evening because I want to cover up the day that I was not able to publish an article. I don't want to mess up my daily article, knowing it's just the first week of the month, lol. 

Last Sunday, my uncle's partner invited us to come over to their place since it's just a few minutes walk from the beach. She wanted us to gather around the beach as she wanted to get to know us more and bond with us. She is my uncle's girlfriend; they've been together for months already, and I can tell that she really wants to hang out with us. She's nice, and we didn't have any problems with her. Both of our grandparents liked her too, because she's too kind towards them and treated our grandparents as her parents as well. She is actually a grade school teacher, which is also a plus point from our grandparents. She always came over to the house and cooked for us, and all of us cousins liked her too. 

She asked my uncle to invite us to come over to their place because she really wanted to get to know us more. She even rented a cottage for us and rented a vehicle to pick us up. That night at 6 pm, she then called to inform us that the vehicle was on the way to pick us up. We arrived at their house at exactly 6:30 in the evening, and when we got there, their house was just right next to the open ocean. Like, literally a few steps from the beach. It was a chilly and peaceful night because, aside from our voices, the only sounds that we heard were the sounds of the waves crashing on the shore. 

She bought a kilo of pork meat and some skewers for us to make a pork barbecue. She rented a cottage for us, but we still ended up sitting in the sand. We circled around the bonfire that they made. We talk a lot and laugh a lot. I can really tell that she really enjoyed our company. She knows that my cousins really love to go on adventures, camping, and beaches. That's why she wants us to visit their place. 

Too bad we weren't able to witness the sunset because it was already dark when we arrived at their place. But the view is still majestic. We could see the city lights of the island of Negros because we were just right on the other side of Cebu. The water was so peaceful and the surroundings The only sounds echoed around us were our own voices and the waves.

We really like her because she's so kind to all of us and she treats us like her own nephews and nieces, even though they aren't married yet with my uncle and they've just been together for months. Our grandparents wanted them to get married already so that there would no longer be issues going around with them. Because there was this girl who also liked my uncle, and she did a lot of things to ruin their relationship and make up rumors and issues around them. 

Too bad for her that my uncle doesn't like her. LMAO.

Hey guys, something happened yesterday that made us burst into tears and made us all worried. We're hoping that everything will be alright. I know God loves her so much and he wouldn't let anything happen to her.
