30 Million Pounds of Trash Removed #TeamSeas

Imagine what the world would look like if we got to remove millions of millions of pieces of trash all over the world. We will no longer worry about plastics everywhere and the stinky smells of trash that is thrown by undisciplined creatures. We would've been living in a paradise if we got to maintain this kind of beauty in our environment.

If you have read my old article from a month ago, "Wake Up And Pick Your Trash," where I wrote about this one when the fundraising had just started, This is the fundraising that the famous content creators have been up to until now. This fundraising was initiated by Mark Rober and Mr. Beast and is called #TeamSeas, where every donation you give is equivalent to a pound of trash that will be removed. If you donated one dollar, a pound of trash in the ocean would be removed by that single dollar you've just donated. Every single penny counts. The project # TeamSeas started on October 29th, 2021, and they're aiming to accumulate 30 million pounds by the end of the year. And as of now, they have already achieved their 30 million goal, and it's way more than 30 million already.

I am a supporter of Mr. Beast, and I also support #TeamSeas because it is a fantastic project that will benefit not only our environment, but all living things on this planet. If you're a subscriber of Mr. Beast, then you know what a great person he is, because he is known for giving away his money and giving thousands of dollars to random strangers. He wanted to make the world a better place. 

In 2020, they have also launched a fundraising campaign called #TeamTrees , in which every donation will be matched by the number of trees planted. And as the year ends, they've successfully planted more than 20 million trees! And just by the end of the year 2021, they have achieved more than 30 million pounds of trash that has been removed. Also thanks to Elon Musk and other big personalities and companies for donating such a huge amount to help remove millions of pounds of trash from the ocean. 

But, if you think it's just the ocean that they will be cleaning, they also included rivers since that is where most of the trash came from. From people who were living on the riverside and just throwing all of their stuff in the river without knowing that all of the trash that they threw in the river would all end up in the ocean.
