As you read my title, you can only think of violence , agressiveness and cruelty right. Anyone can think of like that and everybody know the meaning of those words included in my title. As for me, my world stop for a second when I heard the news last night regarding the invasion of Talibans to the capital of Afghanistan, Kabul. It may sound overacting to you and to everyone but all the memories of the past came back to my senses.
It's just sad that innocent lives are perishing again one by one because of these wars around the world. How many more children will have to suffer again because of this cruelty of humans. How many houses need to be destroyed and turn to ashes again. How many more wars and bloodbath would have to happen in order to satisfy their blood thirst. I don't know the exact answer to this one because it seems that the blood thirst of humans will never be satisfied. I'm just hoping that one day we can say this one "Finally, this is what you called true peace. No crimes , no killings , no one have to suffer cruelty and no hate."
But no one can defy the natural law of life. I know that it will happen generations to generations and it will never stop, not until we find solutions for the root cause of these wars and bloodbath. Even if you cut all the branches and trunks of a huge tree,still it will continue to live not until you cause something serious to it's roots.
This war things are memories of the past but it seems that the blood sucking humans have resurrected and came back again to cause more blothbath. The effects of these wars are devastating, a huge and serious threat to humanity but we humans never learn from that mistakes of the past. Every country are strengthening their armed forces to be use in maintaing peace in their respective territories but I hope that it will never be use in harming it's beloved people. I know that I'm not the only one hoping but millions of people around the world.
I'm just stating my own opinions regarding these matters, ofcourse I did some research, watched videos about this thing called wars and only one thing I understood from these, it's only causing DEATH. What's worst is the young ones are being used by these adults who are hungry for power and blood. I don't know the deep reasons or roots on how these wars started but the only thing I know is it all started with some conflicts or misunderstanding between two parties and that certain reason can be solve by many solutions but they are not doing it because they only want to prove their superiority through out the whole world.
If you will be asked regarding this matter, what is your insights about this thing called WAR? I know that it is a broad topic but I want to know yours since I gave mine. This matter does not only concern me but you also because anytime here in our country , Philippines, a war may start. The possibility and chances are there so be ready just in case.
When it comes to guns and all of that I had an experienced with it, not me particularly but my grandmother. She experienced it just last year and it's not that great experienced. If I'm not here in our house at that time maybe she is dead now. I don't know what I will feel or my reaction at that time witnessing that kind of scenario. There was a gun pointed out to my grandmothers forehead. It was an airgun , this kind of gun is use for hunting birds and others. If it can kill animals then it can kill a human too. No matter what kind of gun it is, it can kill depending on how you use it.
When I read the article of @gwapojohn about different kinds of neighbors, I remember our neighbors here who are like that especially the neighbors who will ask for Malunggay leaves and later on the malunggay tree will die haha (mainit daw ang kamay ng kimuha pag ganun na namatay yung malunggay after kuhanan). But in this article it's a different story, I'll share about our neighbor who resorts to violence and threatening in order to prove how high they are or superiority. Just like in war, in order to show who is stronger and has the greater superiority, one should use violence and unhumane actions.
Last year, our neighbor burned some dried leaves near our house. He added gasoline in it so what do you expect, it burned so lively and take not near our house. Our house is just made out of light materials such us bamboos. I don't know what he was thinking that time. I went outside because of the smoke entering our house and boom I saw that crazy, war freak neighbor adding more coconut leaves so I asked him nicely why he burned all of those near our house, I expect a nice answer and valid reason but not. He angrily shouted at me, his eyes are very sharp. I felt his bloodthirst so I just walked away and fetched some water in order to set off the fire.
My grandmother woke up and she asked me why I'm fetching water then I said there's a huge fire near our house. She went outside with me and she saw it. She got angry and shouted " Why there's a fire here? Who the f*uck started it.? (In Ilocano)". Then that war freak came out holding the air gun. He shouted " Me why, you have a problem with that?". My lola answered "Ofcourse I have a problem, are your eyes blind that you can't see our house here." He walked towards my lola and shouted " Fu*k y** old woman. I can do what I want". Shouting that while pointing his gun to may lola. He also said " I can pay for your lives, all of you." I got scared and grab my lola back to our home.
After that incident, I took a picture of the burned place and we decided to file a case in our barangay. The case was filed and they summoned the guy 3 times then he appeared. The session went smoothly until the barangay captain said that it was just a simple case. I got angry and said " How come that it is a simple matter, that man pointed a gun to my lola and it has a corresponding case if you will base it in the laws. It is a Grave threat case and if he fired that gun it is Attempted murder or Murder if he killed my lola". The whole barangay councils are there and they are silent. In my mind, it seems that they don't have enough knowledge about the Laws and yet they are appointed in those positions.
We didn't settle an agreement in our barangay and I insisted that they should turn over the case to the Police. When the case was in the police department. The case was solve and we signed an agreement that if he will say or act anything against us again. His case will be reopened and they will arrest him immediately. We just had an agreement in black and white because I still have conscience for him. He has a daughter and I don't want to make her cry because her dad will be sent to jail. After that agreement, his acts towards us have soften and our relationship with that man became a little bit nice.
And that ends my article for today. I'm really hoping and praying that one day this thing called WAR will be burried to the inner core and will be forgotten so that we can attain TRUE PEACE. Where no one have to suffer CRUELTY again.
