Outstanding leaders are decisive.
Good day guys, how are you doing today? I hope you had a great day. Happy Sunday to you. Let's quickly review yesterday's article. It remains true that knowledge only comes to those who are hungry and searching for wisdom. The best leaders in the world have a habit of making continual effort to expand the horizons of their mind and increase the understanding they have of their field, of leadership, of those around them, of the matters of the day, and of the world at large.
Wisdom also comes as a byproduct of the life experiences we have, and what distinguishes the best leaders from others is that they take their experiences and turn them into wisdom. They're never tired of learning, they're always growing and going for more knowledge.
The best leaders never have enough of knowledge and understanding because they go for more. They know that wisdom can come from different sources, so they're always looking out to see what they can learn more. Whether it means that they'll study their field to expertise, or learn about leadership. It might even require that they get to know the people around them better, outstanding leaders are constantly looking for ways to expand their mind.
And they know that it's not just by acquiring knowledge for the sake of it but putting it to correct use. With this understanding that they need to gather much knowledge, they're able to make better decisions and lead their teams the right way.

Being a leader means being able to make decisions, and that in turn means being decisive. It's not always easy, but it's critically important. You need to be able to focus, trust your instincts (based on your knowledge and experience), and be ahead of the game enough to have already done any studying or discussion that might be helpful. In short, you need to be decisive.
Leaders are often put in difficult situations, where they have to make a decision that will affect many people. Making a decision quickly and calmly is a critical skill for any leader.
One of the best ways to become a more decisive leader is to focus on your own instincts. Trusting your instincts and the knowledge and experience that underlie them is critical. You also need to be ahead of the game enough that you've already done any studying and discussion that might be helpful.
