Allow God bless others through you

Good day guys. How are you doing today? I trust that you've had a great week. Let's quickly review yesterday's article.

One great thing to do is to take responsibility for our character. We must begin to see our character as a product of choices not our circumstances.

Even the Bible in proverbs states that Character is determined by choice, not by chance. It means that your character isn’t determined by happens to you, your character is determined by how you respond. You may have inherited a particular character defect maybe from your family but this doesn’t mean that it's something you cannot have control over.

One of the easiest things to do is to use our circumstances as excuses for something. There are people that may blame money for the selfish, greedy ways of some people. Some blame their upbringing for their character flaws as if it's the only factor meanwhile they also chose to have those flaws. You can now see, it isn’t only bad circumstances that effect us, we also have a hand in our flaws. By nature, every human is made up things like greed, lust, selfishness and pride.

You must learn not to blame people for your character. You cannot blame your character flaws on someone else. Your circumstances can be beyond your control, but your character is not, you have control over your character. Blaming your character on the circumstances or people is like blaming the mirror for how you look.

When you realize how much you choose for yourself, you'll become intentional about your success and happiness. You won't leave things in the hands of fate. You must remember that you are accountable for how you respond in any situation.

God can bless you with everything you need, and you will always have more than enough to do all kinds of good things for others. Some people refuse to give because they’re greedy, but in most instances, that’s not so. The truth is, we’re concerned that if we don’t look out for our own interests, they might not get looked out for at all.

It’s easy to be generous with what other people have. It’s not so easy to be generous with what you have. And yet God calls us to give generously and share not only what others have, but also what we have.

God can bless you with everything you need, and you will always have more than enough to do all kinds of good things for others. Some people refuse to give because they’re greedy, but in most instances, that’s not so. The truth is, we’re concerned that if we don’t look out for our own interests, they might not get looked out for at all. But that kind of thinking doesn’t make sense. We should learn to be a channel through which God can bless our neighbors or any outsider.

The truth is, we have been blessed so that we can be a blessing. Some people think they need a big bank account to be a blessing, but it is your time and talent that makes you a blessing and we all have that.

Our selfishness makes it hard to think of giving away our hard-earned money. But I can tell you from experience that if you do it, God will be faithful to take care of you. Did you catch that? God will take care of you! What a wonderful promise.

Everything you have is a gift. And not just now, but all the way back to the day you were born. God has blessed you with every breath you’ve ever taken and every beating heart in your body.
