Q & A: Deep Questions to Ask Yourself
I ran out of drafts already and I got nothing to write about again so you already know, another Question & Answer article to the rescue! I got this from @Probinsyana 's article, check it here.
So let's dive right into it! Here are the random deep questions to ask yourself:
Do I like who I am right now?
Yes. I like who I am right now because to my honest evaluation of myself, I knew that I grew as a person. I have developed my character out of the struggles and pressure I have gone through.
The recent years were difficult for me. I lost my sense of purpose. I lost hope, I took them for granted and it's just recently when I finally decided to get back to my senses and start to get back up. My heart is filled with hope and happiness because I love what I do even if other people don't believe in me. Their opinions don't matter anyway.
What would I truly regret of not doing if I died tonight?
Probably, performing on stage and overcoming the stage fright. I just had this intense influence in the music industry of playing in front of the crowd and I wanna know how good it feels to see them singing along with our songs.
I want to become an image of inspiration that despite everything that has happened in my life, I stand up again and maximize my skills and talents to fulfill the purpose that I believed in.
What are the three things that I am most grateful for?
I have been practicing to develop gratitude in every way I can. I should see something in a situation that I should be grateful for.
I am most grateful for the second chance that God has given me. It took me a while to appreciate the life God has given me again, the second time around. I am also grateful for my well-being and my family's well-being, safety, and privileges. Lastly, I am most grateful for the talent and skills God has given me. It made me who I am today by standing on my grounds and making wise choices in life.
Have I done something recently that I could be proud of?
Yes, and that is to make a choice of living life every day maximizing the opportunities and chances that are right in front of me.
When was the last time I extended kindness to somebody?
I went to the grocery the other day and while waiting in line for the cashier, a lady is carrying a baby and a cart at the same time. I gave my spot to her so I went backward after her.
A senior citizen is complaining that her knees are aching because of arthritis while she's in line to the cashier so I emptied a space and made a way of a temporary seat under a rack with a display of dishwashing liquid soaps.
I did those not to feed my ego and feel good but because it was a genuine act of kindness.
What do I really want from life?
Financial freedom! I mean, this could be anybody's desire though. You wouldn't have to worry about the daily expenses in the household. You have life insurances, you keep money for the future, you invest and if there's an extra, help other people who are in need and make charity works.
What makes life meaningful?
Life is meaningful when you commit mistakes and learn from them. You take those mistakes or experiences as lessons that you will carry in the future to hone your character as a person.
Living is not just about existing. It is about thriving in whatever circumstances you may face and still choose to see the beauty in life along with a grateful heart.
What is a peaceful life?
Life is peaceful when you focus on your peace of mind. Other people's perspectives don't matter to you as long as you know your truth, you know where you stand, and you make choices in line with your moral compass and integrity.
Aside from living away from a chaotic environment, social media detoxification would be an ideal option for living a peaceful life and just embracing nature.
Who do I look up to?
I look up to my parents, of course. I look up to them because in spite of their imperfections, they raised me and my sister equipped with good values and morals. They trained us to be kind and not harm anyone.
You can make your own article out of these questions too. Your turn!
